Video Games?

I own a game cube ( Iknow I am a nerd) and have been debating with myself for a few weeks about wether I should bring it or not....any thoughts?

yeh bring it...it could be cool...i dunno if it'll work in the states tho! wot with different electricity and all that! im bringing my laptop to play games and watch dvds etc x

It'll work in the states no prob., I'm Canadian.... power's the same..... the only difference is my instructions come in English AND French...

 

And anybody's welcome to play so long as I'm around.... most of my games are more fun with 4 players anyway

I too am a fan of the Cube! have lotsa fun games at home; Monkey ball, Mario Kart, Mario Party etc.. (all the cute cartooney ones!) I'll definately be up for a match of Shine Thief! Don't spose there is much point me bringing my games since they prob won't play on the US Cube, but let me know if u need any extra controllers and I'll bring mine!

Thanks Beth... I am pretty set for controlers and stuff I already own 5. 3 of which are wave birds (wireless controlers) Thanks for the offer though... it's just gonna be a matter of fitting it in my suitcase I think.

I say bring it, playing games when there is nothing else to do is always a good time.

 

Oh playing games is soo much fun. One of my friends in Florida had a PS, it was great! C'mon if the girls can fit 20 pairs of shoes in their luggage you can make the Game Cube fit haha

Not sure if it'll work, i bought a gamecube out in the states when i was on the IP and i had to buy a new power lead for it to work in the UK so not sure if yours will work over there. Playstation was fine when i took that out to the states with me tho - so it might have something to do with the box thing thats part of the gamecube power lead.

XBox is supposed to be so much fun, all my friends only had the PS though. I wanted to buy one, but now that I'm moving it doesn't make any sense. Hopefully my new roomie is gonna own one! As I will most likely be moving in with a guy, chances are good ;D lol

the ps2 is by far the best console! my mate had all the different consoles but now he sold them and kept the ps2! but there are some cool games on the others! game cube is cool cos u have all the ports for 4 players built in so you can have a proper multi player bash! mario kart is awesome on it!

 

i used to love mario kart, i had an obsession with yoshi and donkey kong LOL

I went to whitby for a geog field trip when doin my a-levels and we kitted up the caravan with a game cube and ps2! it was cool! didn't get a great deal of work done that week tho! spent most of the time drinking (we got thrown out of the on camp 'night club' on the first night because one of the lads started a fight!) in the caravan and playing on the comps!

 

haha that sounds like an alevel trip we had to shropshire and one we had to skeggy! rather interestin!
