Hi there ;D Anybody considering getting driving licenses? ??? Well, Lets discuss then 8) I'm thinking of getting my motorcycle endorsement when I arrive, : I already have my Norwegian driving license for car and moped (not motorcycle though) which I've had for exactly two years today But can anybody, ANYONE help me figure out, HOW I can obtain an motorcycle d.l? I was thinking of this earlier! I'm thinking of maybe getting one if it doesn't cost much, cos I think it'll bring down the cost of hiring a car (I'm not planning on buying a car though) But would it cancel out my UK one does anyone know? I'm not sure about a motorcycle license sorry, Marius!!! x
I hae a uk driving license, i'm not planning on buying a car in florida but i'd like to sit my us license just for the novelty I'd also like to hire a car every so often and ride off on an adventure!
I would probably also just rent a car, but I ain't 21 before september :S Sooo.. I'll just get the motorcycle endorsement. I've heard theres A LOT of traffic jams too in Orlando, so it will be good with a bike, rather then a car, but .. of course on longer road trips it would be better with a car
i'd love to buy a car, but i dunno if it makes that much sense...i'll see how much money i've got behind me when i go out there i think

Koda, I'm sure a scooter is a good choice for crusing around local, but not if your thinking of heading out on the highway though, I would probably just consider a motorcycle! To get a motorcycle endorsement, I just found out by the DMV, that If you get or have a US License (car) you can take a Motorcycle safety foundation course (MSF) for around $250-$260 and head straight down to the DMV located at the corner of the South Orange Blossom Trail and Osceola Parkway after your course, and get your endorsement fully endorsed on your US license The course is aprox. done during a weekend.. I've found out that, THAT is what I'm doing in May when I arrive at the Commons.
oh yeah definitely wouldn't go onto the highway. As far as I know scooters go a max of 80 km. which is around 40-50 miles I think. But I know I am for sure not brave enough for a motorcycle. and because of insurance, my brother just got one and his insurance is a lot more money than our car insurance. I'm still debating if I'm going to bring my car with me. I need to see if it will be more money than its worth
