hey guys, just a quick note to let you know what's been happening here in the wonderful world of the commons! Alot actually. Last Monday all the UK lads and lasses went to a place called Coconut willies, a english social club. Was so much fun, we got picked up in an open top double decker bus, it was so much fun avoiding all the trees on the way! The weather has been kind recently, ignoring the few storms tho. Saturday was beautiful, it was like 87 degrees or something at one point! I cant wait for all the new arrivals to come here, I wo'nt be tagged the newbie anymore! I cant wait to show you all around and for you to experience how much fun you will have here! Any questions? About here etc? Those lists of what to pack are just about right. But if you want to know about the Commons etc feel free to post! Any newbies to the site? If so get in touch on this thread, perhaps all the newbies can add to this chain? And full timers on here (mentioning no names.........!) introduce me to the newbies! OK, I gotta get back to my appartment and get ready for work, looking forward to another day of laughs, magic tricks, photos, games, football, singing, dancing, going crazy! Hi Kev ive got 5weeks to go just like Gem and one thing that im confused about it what happens when you arrive at the airport?? I know we get picked up but do they wait around for everyone who is landin that day or are there a couple of pick ups?? You're gonna b bombarded with questions now lol xXx

Yeah thats def not me u or sara linz... so dunno who the full timers on this board are! Kev thanks so much for the updates... i love them makes me want to go to florida even more... if thats possible! Good question Gem i wanna know that too and also what happens when the bus arrives cos im thinking its going to take time to give everyone keys to their apts... xxx
There will be someone there at the airport to meet you. There was only myself and Jen when I landed, so it'll be a little different. They just looked for the green luggage tags we had...although, two girls sitting with a pile of luggage at Orlando International, probably also tipped the two guys off. They had a van and put us and our luggage in it and took us to the Commons. They took us on a little tour because they had a few hours before the next pick up (we got in a 1230). When we got there, we went to the clubhouse and they gave us our packages with our keys and some info for the next day. There was nobody there to meet us, but sometimes there will be people from your pavilion that will meet you at the bus and help you to your new apt. If not, you just take your stuff and off you go until your meeting the next day. If you're early enough, they may take your ID photos then (I know...right after the flight), but if you get in after 5, you'll do it later that week. Shan

kevin it sounds so much fun out there!! wish i only had 5 weeks but my wait will be more like 5 years. but anyway i'm a so called newbie to the updated site, but i'm working on becoming a full timer!!! already nearly 100 posts and not even been on a month ;D
Hi Kevin WOW it sounds great out there. I'm leavin for Disney in December and can't wait!!! Leanne went out a few weeks ago as well and she's been emailing me - it sounds like you guys have a great time. Just a question about your apartment - how many of you are there and are you all of different nationalities?
