Hi current CRp'ers, What's the deal with getting an annual Universal pass? I've read that you need to get some form of FL State ID first and also that if you buy a bottle of Pepsi or Coke (can't remember which), there was something like a $15 discount on the pass. Thanks
Hey, im curious about this as well, was looking online and it does seem like u do need a Florida ID, but i was hoping that maybe the visa and complex would be enough as i was looking to get the annual pass the day before i start so i can go see Harry Potter land while i've still got time, please anyone there now or been there that could shed some light would be very helpful xxx
As much as I can remember you need some sort of proof of residence, so like photo id, mail with your address.
To buy from universal, yes. But you can pick up an annual pass from publix. I think you need proof of Florida Residence, like a bank letter to your address, I believe, but I could be wrong.
When I was there my entire start group (7 of us) all went to Universal a few days after we arrived. All of us got annual passes with our passports and a little bit of charm...the bottom line is they want your money.
Thanks Stu. Sounds ideally like you need to wait until you've been to DMV or got your Social Security No. before getting a Universal pass.
might try the charm as i really want to go there before i start and dont want to have to pay for a tick to just get another one later, but if needs must.
im pretty sure some of my arrival group got their passes by showing their visa in their passport and their paperwork for Disney befor egetting their ids i personally got mine on the pay monthly plan of like $10 a month but i didnt get that til about a month after arriving cos of having to have the bank account set up
All I had to do to get mine was show my Housing and Disney ID, that was it. It worked to get me the Florida Resident Summer Pass and to buy a Florida Resident one day Ticket. Apparently they aren't supposed to accept those as proof of residency but it worked for all my friends so I guess money talks in that sense ;D
There is an annual pass for non florida resisdents too. Here is the link: http://www.universalorlando.com/Tic...s.aspx?ComponentId=12956&SourcePageId=13636#6 I plan on getting this because I want to go before starting at Disney
