hello everyone i have a question ,can you get accepted if you are not currently in university i wanna apply for the program but is this program only for people that are in university ??? im 18 years old by the way any answer will be much aappreecciiaattedd¡¡¡¡¡ thanx tyler
Yeah Ellen's right Tyler its only the 3 month college prog where u have to be in uni. The one yr program u just have to be over 18. Uni has nothing to do with it... xxx

yeah i'd echo that! what everyone whas said is true, u don't have to be at uni, its more personality & flexibility that they look for than educational background. However I was told if u had some kind of background/experience with the kind of jobs or did go to uni and showed the kind of drive u had to learn then it may give u an increased advantage. dont know how true that is mind but definately go for it, i know a few who've got through to face to faces without uni background, even withou alevels, its just the way u come across. good luck xxx
i'd echo that sara! i've not been to uni. i have good qualifications from high school and said that i had interest of getting into some travel and tourism business and was considering doing that after this year as it would give me a good idea of if its what i wanna do. but i've got no higher education except a course in a professional dance school in dance...but clearly not educational! xx
Yeah i said similar thing Lindsey about this year showing me if tourism was for me... B4 i went into interviews i asked Jason what chance of getting thru is - and he said everyone gets the chance to shine for example you'll have a degree. so i assumed he was hinting i should mention it - which is kind of him... him and Alexis are the sweetest! But i think it was my customer service exp that helped way more. More than anything they're looking for disney people! Its the person not the education theyre most bothered about. Dont worry too much about qualifications/experience, like everyone has said they care more about your personality. I have a degree but its nothing to do with tourism and i have no tourism experience but I still got the job so dont worry about it!! Good luck with your application!!! Michelle xx
michelle didnt realise you had a degree. whats it in? i think id like to come back here and do american culture and tourism but this year will help me decide! Ill be the oldest one at uni!haha!id rather study over there but no sure if its possible! im gonna find out when im over. xx
Ive got a degree in journalism - i made it relevant in the interview by saying it was all about communication and sharing info or something like that!!
I guess thats a hint for you guys with your interview in the next couple of weeks - just waffle on about anything and everything for your 15 miuntes and youll be fine!!!

lol yeah i got asked that question i can't remember what i said though. lol linz u won't b the oldest at uni, when i started my travel & tourism mgt degree last year there were a few people on my course in 1st year who were 23/24. xxx
see linz ud b fine hunny, like i said 2 u on msn earlier when u was lookin on ucas u shud defo go 4 it, even if u decide not 2 take up goin 2 uni after disney, still gives u the option. i'm movin unis for my 3rd year as well. just for a change of scenery etc, plus a lot of my friends r goin 2 3rd year without the placement so id b on my own! xxx
