I really hope none of the people who got an interview thing we're being a bunch of bitter arses but I find it totally unbelievable that not one person was deemed worthy of an interview who has been before. I call shenanigans on you Yummy Jobs!
Yeah agreed yes I am pleased for everyone who got through but at same time I cant believe that we are not considered qualified for it This was my last ditch attempt too - also turning 30 soon (ish - Nov) so dont think I will be applying again
I dont understand how they can open it to rehires but then not even offer an interview. It should be a mix of New and Old. After all its more likely that Newbies will be termed or self term than someone who behaved and not only finished the program but also in many cases got commended and extended. If your not going to give re-hires a chance then don't get there hopes up by saying that you are accepting re-applicants Well done to those who did make it though. But make the most of it because it looks like you will not be back again
absolutely gutted... is that the overall rule then... no rehire?? what really upset me is that i got offered phone interview in sept but i was on holiday so was told to apply again... i did and now theyre not offering me that chance! ;( devestated.
am intrigued if it is a automated email that has been sent out!? what is the first line of everyones email??
"Dear Stuart, Many thanks for the time and effort you put into your application for Disney’s Cultural Representative Program. We sincerely appreciate your interest in the Disney International Programs." I'm pretty certain it's some sort of automated thing with the names changed.
they saiid they wont reply to further inquiry as they will be too busy. here is the phone number for the programme office at disney though, if anyone feels like going over YJ head (407) 934-7997.
I cant find an email address-i have the phone number but if we call them they will just fob us off just to get us off the phone. does anyone have any current contacts at WDW-all the email addresses i have for managers are for people who dont even work there anymore!
wdw.int.recruiting@disney.com thats the email address i also got a rehire no.. but im not too bothered as iv just been offered a job with british airways cabin crew! i still think its bad that we got no explanation!
