Hi there, Could all you UK people explain to me exactly what you did to obtain your Visa? You had to pay for it/interview right? Could someone explain that exactly? Thank you Allan
speaking of embassy questions... what did everyone else do about not taking mobile phones and liquids and cosmetics and things with you? Especially if trying to do everything in one day, including travel time?
Ok firstly Il answer Allan....when u get a job, yummy jobs provide you with all the info u need, tell u what forms to fill in, you just need to take it all along, and show up at the embassy, and hand it over. they will process it, and maybe ask a couple of questions, its not even like an interview, altho people call it an interview! and linsey, when i travelled down i had a bag with make up and everything, and a change of clothes as i travelled down on an overnight bus. It had to be something I was able to check in as well as i flew back home, and obv couldnt take make up etc on the plane. so wot i did was i went to the Luggage place in Liverpool st station and left my luggage there, i thik it was about 10 quid for the day! your mobile fone u can probably take it in with u but u have to give it to the little dude at the front door, i had to do the same with my camera last year!
I took my mobile in with me, and when I couldn't remember my phone number for the VISA, switched it on to check, and when I then realised I'd entered my number wrong I got an embassy person to ring it for me. Much fun!
