Hello! I had a face to face interview with Excellent Entertainment today for cruise staff / youth counselor positions. I've been shortlisted for next week's interviews woo! Mine's at Disney's HQ in Hammersmith. Is anyone else on here going there on the 2nd of November? I'm slightly nervous... but very very very excited! Ross

Good luck m'love!! I am currently debating the whole apply/don't apply issue! I'd love to be cruise staff or a youth counsellor...or guest relations (But i heard you need a fluent second language for that!!!) but I worry about the long hours, tiny cabin etc...not sure I'd be cut out for it and worry that I'd be comparing it to WDW all the time and that it wouldn't be the same and I'd end up being disappointed!! GOOD LUCK for tomorrow...whether you read this in time or not!! and good luck to you too Ross...(even tho it's today!) let me know how it went and what info they give you about the job cos i'd love to know more!!! Thanks for the good luck I think the interview went well - if I don't get the job it'll be down to my level experience. I wanted to do either cruise staff or youth counselor - and youth counselor is what i'll be offered if I get the job. Disney David? As in Dave W? Did the IP and came back a few months ago? Used to work at Disneyland Resort Paris? Guest Communications and Character & Parade? If it is... it's a small world after all... Ross
Yes, that exact Disney David...one of my favourite peoples in the whole world! I'd be interested in Youth Counsellor as well...got any more info about it from the interviews??? I'm toying with the idea of applying and that's what I'm most interested in!! Ellen x
Oh my god! How bizarre that we both know the same person. Dave is lovely! I saw him a couple of months ago, he was even camper than before he went to WDW. I think he stole Tinkerbelle's pixie dust. Or maybe he's her supplier? Not much more information was given than you can find on the website. The video they show you is about 30 minutes long - the clips on the website are taken from it (the main DCL experience video). The only thing that suprised me was that some youth counselor activies end at 1am in the morning and then there's cleaning to do afterthat. If I remember anything that stood out I'll let you know. Ello Ellen, I hope you are keeping well, what have you been up too? I was in London a few nights staying at Dans apartment, meet up with Hayley went to TGI fridays, saw the show Wicked which is AMAZING and did some shopping and stuff and ofc went to this interview I have a confession to make. I hate Myspace Ellen, I dont understand it and I find it hard to use. Thats why I never reply, cuz I dont know how. Anyways, the interview went ok. A bit strange actually as the guy had this mobile call from his wife who was involved in a car crash. It wasn't bad, but I was sitting there, going oooo ahhhhh emmmm eeekk oooo ahhh. It didnt feel like an interview at the time, but I had to do some bar exam which got my rusty brain to work, hope I did ok I find out next week if I got a placement or not. (in the UK) im in the process of trying to get into the 1 year program at Epoct and im waiting to hear back from them since having my interview last week - if that falls through tho id like to apply for this - just dont have a clue where to start!!!!! If you're applying for an entertainment, cruise staff or youth counselor position you have to apply through "the agency". Drop them an email at theagency@excellententertinament.biz.
