UK F&B Costume

Hey guys
Was just wondering if anyone knows what the UK F&B female costume looks like at the back? Lol I know it seems like a random question but I'm thinking of getting a tattoo inbetween my shoulder blades b4 I go and want to make sure it will be covered, it would be a bit of a bummer going the whole way out there to discover my tattoo doesnt adhere to the "disney look" haha.
Any advice would be much appreciated

 

i dont know, i doubt it will have much showing at the back but i personaly wouldnt risk it, its hardly a reversable mistake..... and ur right getting there 2 find out its on show would suck royaly

You'll probably be fine but for what it's worth i would wait cos you don't want to arrive and they send you straight back home because it's an issue for them

 

oh my days our F&B costume is quite hidious, its kinda alright untill you get 2 the shoes, i had forgot how horrific disney costume was......

haha i know i am so looking forward to the sexiness of that costume . Thanks for all the advice guys am sure from looking at the photos that the tattoo will be well covered up. I would just wait but I really want this tattoo and I know the guy who has done all my other piercings and tattoos so would want him to do it 4 me.

 

Word of warning, some of the costumes are really old so the shirts have gone quite see through! I was there a good few years ago now and I don't think they've gotten any new ones since so who knows what they're like now!

When you go to costuming make sure you get the shirts which aren't so worn as this will ensure you can't see your tattoo through them! If you can see it through the shirt they may make you wear a t-shirt or something under your shirt and that will be really, really hot!

Also if you manage to find costumes which are newish and not totally worn and actually fit you then keep hold of them!!

 

i've heard it's pretty rare to find a top anything under an extra large, which would literally hang off me! doubt a size 8 even exists at wdw tbh loll

 

yeah i wear small t-shirts and that usually! i'm sure an american medium would be more than suffice for me...any more and i'll look even more scrawny

 

I hope the adjust the costume size like they said as i'll come under a children's size in the US

 

Thats not true, I'm smaller than an 8 and they have plenty of shirts in my size. They have gotten new shirts which are yellower than the older ones, but if you pick an old one from the shelf it is quite see through.

yeh when i was thr last i found plently of work tops in my size? im a 12/14 and i was wearing a medium, and it fit fine, but there were loads of smalls,

ahh that's good then, i suppose i've just read too many blogs ranting about xxl uniforms haha!

 

the tops would be fine covering tattoos and stuff, some are pretty thick (a little too thick for this unbearble heat) and they cover all the back.

you lads are going to LOVE the socks! BTW get used to the trousers being called KNICKERS! I was mortified that I was wearing Knickers to work every day, but now after almost three months being here, I have got used to it and I don't even flinch anymore.

 

Can't believe you've been there 3 months already, I remember when you were just going!

Guess I'll be donning some knickers next week! haha.. :-\
