In response to above, I was just wondering if ur not applying, going or even thinking about applying anymore why are u still using the boards ;) Me thinks you would rather be going to Disney than joining the police :p

I sent my app off last month but Yummy said to apply again in July and gave me a code to quote not sure what its for.

aparenly yummy had TONS of applications this round, is the first time i seen so many people who havent get even a phone interview, so i think they get really mess up and that was what happen, even im from Mexico i have been trying to get into disney since 2005 so i have seen soooo many interviews an this is the first time i see this kind of problem with yummy, i mean if they change cast-a-way from Canada to Yummy there have to be something good about them right ;)

im gonna speak for myself, i prefer sent my papers close to the date of all the process begins cuz that way u know they arent going to forget u! hahaha, but if u send them now, make sure to keep in touch with them to know how everything is going, and when u start to see the people getting news contact them right away... thats the advange of been in this kind of forums hehehe

    good luck to everyone!!!! =)

Right an essay for u all ..... I had absolutely no clue what yummy jobs even was when i first got an email from them lol. after my holiday to disney in 2005 i came home and just searched on google for disney work programmes. in march 2006 i got my email from yummy jobs regardin job information, i didnt have my telephone interview untill september 2006, i didnt have my face to face interview untill feb 2007, because at that time i wasnt applyin for CRP it was a seasonal programme that went from may - november (dont think they do it anymore). we was told we would find out within 6weeks if we got it, as we only had the interview 3months before the due date. i waited and waited but heard nothin back from them, then received an email sayin sorry we are unable to offer anyone a position...they forgot to sort the visas out in time :( not long after receivin that email i received another one givin me options on other jobs they were now offerin and one of them was CRP, so in september 2007 i went for my second face to face and had to fill all the same forms out that i had done at my first interview (where the other ones went i dont know), but unfortunately a month later i got an email .. i didnt get that job :( was so annoyed with myself and angry that id gone through so much. THEN january of this year i got a phone call from michele at yummy jobs 'hayley we'd like to offer u a position' omg i nearly died. a girl had dropped out and yay i was picked to replace her. was meant to fly out feb 19th, then march 11th, then march 25th but finally after 26 looooong months of waitin i fly out in 12days! not been easy but got there in the end :D

I only sent my CV in on Tuesday and got an interview for June 11th. I did contact Yummyjobs on facebook so maybe that could be a line you could try to get in a little earlier?

It depends really. If you cannot go until March for example, I would not put that on the cover letter. Its not really necessary to tell them this until later. They will ask you when you are available to start in the phone interview and you'll be asked to write it down on a form in your face to face interview. If you can start anytime it gives you a better chance of being offered a place, especially if you're put on the waiting list.
