    hey all,

I just sent in my cv and cover letter to yummy. Did my best with the cover letter, covered both it and my cv in mickey ears in the background! How long does it normally take to hear back from them? I heard it can take up to 8 weeks, yet it seems some people found out in a matter of days?

And the next round of phone interviews would be august, right?

Hope we all get in! I can see myself getting very psyched up about this opportunity!

It usually takes 8-10 weeks, and they normally drop you a quick email to let you know this when they've got your application.. It took them 8 weeks to get back to me when I sent mine in...

I didn't get in though, and having emailed Alexis, she said I could send an updated application in, which I've done.. Now I'm waiting again for what could be another 8 weeks :-\

I think they've started the phone interviews, but I'd guess they're going to be doing them for a while yet...

I sent mine in and the next day I had the standard acknowledgement e-mail. Then about a week later I got the e-mail telling me I was through to the phone interview which would be in August and then last week I got another e-mail giving me the dates/times of phone interview and mines a week today so they can be pretty quick too

Yup, I'm in a simliar position. I sent my application off yesterday and am waiting to here from them. This is really scary cuz i want it so much! If i'm this nervous now i can't imagine what i would be like if i got to phone interviews! Isn't it mad that some of us could possibly be working together in Disney!!!

    Hey

It really all depends on when you send your CV in. If its just after the F2F interviews in March and November then it will usually take 8-10 weeks, but the closer you send your CV in to these two months the faster the response time because if they think your good enough (which im sure you all are) they will email you when your phone interview is to hopefully get you onto the F2F interviews.

    Hope this helps

    Hey, :)

I'm thinking of sending my CV to yummy jobs by e-mail. Was wondering do I need to send a covering letter as well or is sending the CV on it's own ok? Has anyone else sent it through e-mail?

Def send a covering letter with your CV, but make it fun to read, yummy get tons of applicants and it should stand out! Make up a fun disney poem to describe yourself or decorate the pages with some disney characters.
    Good luck!

I did a bog standard covering letter and got through so don't think it matters if you don't but as people said it gives them something to remember you by. Took about 4 weeks from the application to the phone interview for me so I guess you have a little bit of a wait but hopefully not too long. Good luck all
