Why wasn't Bertha put in jail after killing dozens of people? and What English word retains the same pronunciation, even after you take away four of its five letters? and If I say "Everything I tell you is a lie," am I telling you the truth or a lie?
bertha...is that a hurricane? with the lie one: if you say it and you're telling the truth, everything you say is not a lie, therefore you are a liar if you say it and you're lying...you're lying!
I think we have two brainboxes right here Ok try this: you're a farmer and you have a fox, goose and a sack of corn. You have to take all three into town, but you have to get over a river to get there, and you only have a small boat with room for you and one animal/item at a time. However you can't leave the fox and goose alone as the fox will eat it, and you can't leave the goose alone with the corn... how do you do it?
You start by taking the goose to the other side of the river. You go back to the other side and pick up the fox. Taking the fox to the other side, you drop it off and pick up the goose and take it back to the first side. You do the same thing there by dropping off the goose and picking up the corn. You cross the river again dropping off the corn. You come back to the first side for the very last time, pick up the goose and take it to your final destination.
Mum and Dad have four daughters, and each daughter has one brother. How many people are in the family? Why wasn't John able to take a photo of his mother with curlers? What can travel around the world while staying in a corner? When is it bad luck to meet a white cat? What is broken every time it's spoken?
What can travel around the world while staying in a corner? A postage stamp. What is broken every time it's spoken? Silence.
A stamp, anything in the corner of a vehicle/ship/plane When its pitch black so everything is black Silence!
The only riddle I remember, that probably everyone has heard: What do you always have when you're sitting down that you never have when you're standing up?
