Treehouses!!

ok, so ive been here since sunday, i was with a group of 7, 6 of which (minus me) being housed in vista way, me being shipped off on my own to treehouses!!

the internet has finally switched on, so i make a call, a plea! is there anyone else out there in treehouses? met a fair few people here but i cant be the only english guy here?!?

 

eeek how did they sort that? did they just pick 6 at random or was it pre-arranged that you would be the outcast?! that really sucks. whats the accomodation like?

 

It was probably pre arranged since Tree Houses are only for Magic Kingdom CMs. It's very possible the other 6 were placed in the other parks/hotels/water parks/DTD and he was the only one placed in the MK.

 

yeah im working im magic kingdom, everyone here is, 2 people who were here who got assigned somewhere else got moved out! its ok, pretty cool, but you gotta get a bus to vista to see mates and after working all day its too much hassle!!

anyone gets moved here let me know!

 

What are the treehouses like... I'm not gona be there but have eard alot about them

 

I just wondered if anyone had any pictures of treehouses? I don't really know what it looks like or anything, i only went there once and that was just because the bus stopped there on the way from walmart..

Does it have a pool and other things that the other accomodations have got?

 

well theyre ok, if you get put here youre quite likely to be split from friends, but that has meant ive met far more people than i otherwise would!

theyre ok, they look really nice from the outside, and theyre "cosy". take getting used to, just annoying as the only bus to parks is magic kingdom....so have to go to vista to get to others!

 

Ah rite, fair enough..It doesn't sound to bad..Im expecting to live there atleast at some point in my program!

Do you know if any guest relations people live at the treehouses?!? Cause I know I'll be working at MK(not arriving till Sept 11th) but so far I heard they all live at the commons.

The thing i don't really like about it to be honest is the fact it seems abit sheltered from the heat if you get me..I don't think i'd even get a tan there! It looks like no sun at all even gets anywhere near the place!

Plus the transportation thing is pretty lame!

Have you stayed in both then?? Surely commons can't be that bad

 

you cannot sleep at the commons unless you knock yourself out with booze! and still they wake you up at stupid o clock with leaf blowers, car alarms and god only knows what!
the tree houses are awesome, there secluded, safe, mysterious, and just amazing!

 

Awww what they do sound fun... But i suppose the drinking part of the commons doesn't sound to bad

well my treehouse is very much shaded, which makes it seem quite dark inside, though some of my friends live along the golfcourse, and their balcony has a big open patch of sun which is great for sunbathing!

I dont know any guest relations people chrissi, theyre doesnt seem to be many people around, expecting lots of new arrivals! theres still 2 empty beds in mine!

I took a picture or two for my myspace, it looks good from the outside, just some are kinda dingy on the inside. if everyone who lives here makes themselves known and is open to meet new people then its good!

pools good, just been in the hot tub!

im getting used to the transport system, the last direct route to vista is at 8:20, though ive worked out a few connections to get there or back later!

it isnt ideal, but its working out! like i say, if you get put here, as much as its tempting to just go to vista all the time and see friends you know, it makes it a lot better if you hang out here sometimes and meet others here cos were all in the same boat!

 

Have you not requested to move?

I think i'd request to move if i had to live there to be honest..One of the main reasons im going is because i love the locations of vista and chatham..I'd love to stay in vista the most, but i suppose chatham wouldn't be so bad, i stayed in chatham before and was at vista most of the time, there both pretty close i would say!
