    Hi people

I know it's silly for me to go on like we've even had an interview and got through but touch wood we do and if we do, does anyone plan on going to other parts of the USA when they have a bit of time off? Ive heard its possible to get four days off in a row if you work a certain amount of days back to back. I'm really up for road trips or short breaks to other places to make the most of my year.

Ive also heard people can go on cruises why they are out there as well, has anyone that's been on the program done this?

You'll have lots of opportunities to travel ;) I didn't travel too much though. But, yes you can get back-to-backs. You just have to request it and it's not really that hard to get. Just make the request as soon as you've planned something, the sooner you do that the more likely you're to get it.

I really recommend that you go on a cruise! I didn't do it while I was on the program, but I've done it after. There's several cruises leaving from Port Canaveral and it's not really that expensive. You'll also get discount on the Disney cruises.

I'm definatly wanting to travel around while I'm there! Theres heaps of things I want to do and see in the USA. Internal flights and buses can be quite cheap too if you look around a bit. I would LOVE to do the disney cruise!!

Do you know when your interview is? I don't know yet, just that it's either in the end of march or early april, so I can't wait to have that information!

I miss the firework shows so much! Can't wait so see it again!

I'm sat chewing my hair and worrying over what i'll say!!!! actually thats a good point, any good interview preparation tips?? I've just got this strange feeling that we might find out of phone interviews this week. To prepare for that I'm going to rely on good old wikipedia.com to refresh my knowledge of Leeds...just so i've got something to say to them if they ask me to tell them about where i'm from!!!

lol i'd say london as a whole...definatly talk about guy fawkes and the houses of parliment cos its a tale not everyone in florida is going to be familiar with. as for me...i'll get researching coal mines and the sheep population of the yorkshire moors and such lol

    LOL

Minnie, mines lasted about 20-25 mins and that was with 2 of us in there (cuz u get interviewed in pairs) so it's not too long really.

They are not like normal interviews, jst feels like a wee chat! Dont worry too much about researching where you come from, they will jst ask you to tell them a bit about where you live so it's not too in depth.

hello there i was just reading this thread and i just wanted to give you a few pointers for your interviews, just that i read that you were thinking about researching where you are from.
i found that they were more focused on customer service -

what is good customer service in your opinion, give an examples of when you provide great customer service.
have you lived away from home? how would you cope? have you lived with people from other countries?
where abouts in the world have you always wanted to visit? and have you been to Disney and what were you memory's about it?

these were the questions asked at my interview. really tho you don't need to panic be your self and you will find the interview will react more to you for than that rather than putting on accent and trying to over do it. i hope that this kinda helps alittle Sean
