    Hello WDWIPers :)

I'm from the UK looking at taking a gap year after school next year (2012) and this looks like an amazing opportunity. I was wondering two things:
Firstly, my birthday isn't until the end of August and it says on the website that you must be 18 however on the video it says you must be 18 by the program starts, on the voice-over it says by the time of interview. Is there anyway that I would be able to do this or because of when my birthday is, would it be kind of impossible?
Secondly, can I still apply if I have a place at university but defer it for a year? So if I apply in 2012 but defer until 2013, receive an offer, firm it and get the grades or do you have to be a graduate/ taking a year out from uni?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

I think you have to be 18 at the time of the interview but I'm not totally sure, best thing to do would be to email yummy jobs (their website's www.yummyjobs.co.uk just in case you haven't seen it already) to find out.

If it's the CRP you're looking for rather than the ICP, then there are no requirements whatsoever regarding school, university or otherwise. Many people do the program as a gap year, or after university, but there are just as many who never do university at all. As long as you have the experience and personality they're looking for, uni doesn't matter. The only thing would be if you are limited in the dates that you can do, i.e. you can only start between july and august to make sure you would be back in time for uni the following year you will have to let them know about that when you apply. From what I've seen though, they're usually OK with people who have limited dates and try to accommodate as much as possible.

Hope some of that helped! x
