Hi, my name's Chris from London and I would LOVE to do the WDWIP ! ;D Ive looked up about applying from yummy jobs but havent done anything about it until now  :-\ Do any of you guys think its too late to apply now and (hopefully) get a phone interview for the end of Jan? Also if anyone that has got a phone interview can help me out and let me know what they are looking for job-experience-wise on your CV that would be great! Thanks everyone  :)

Hey, no i would still apply you might just make it.
My job background is soley in bars and restaurants and i got through first time so i would say it deff helps. I think thats what they mainly look for with applicants.

Yeah I'd apply too with a covering letter saying when you're available to go from (for me it's November, but for others it's earlier!) That way they can see when you are available from.

I've only ever worked in shops so have huge amounts of retail experience, but I have also and am still on various commitees organising formals, conferences etc.

So I think a fair amount of customer service is essential!

I'd def go for it...and just see what happens :)

  5. You don't actually NEED anything to get in, but when I applied I had just gotten my diploma in Tourism and have been working in food and guest service for the past almost 4 years, which 'may' have helped but I'm not sure.
It's mainly personality thety look for...if you have that "Disney Magic"
    :)

To agree with Tessa, yes, skills help, but magic rules!! What Disney want is someone who will go that extra mile to make a magical experience for their guests. CMs thatdo that is why they have the reputation they do.

Chris from London, your subject line made me laugh for ages!!! I love Little Britain!! Anxiously waiting for season 2 on dvd to come out here in Canada. :) Good luck with your application.
