Hi to everyone who is on the ships at the moment. ;D I have a ??? that i am hoping you can help me with. I am coming out to work on the ships as i have said before, but i was wondering if in my starter pack it has all the advise on things to bring with you, do you recomend things for me to bring along, maybe little extras that will help or things that you thought would be good to bring with you. All the help will be much appreciated. thank you scotty
hey scotty, as u know I am not on board anymore but I am trying to remember what is a 'must'... take some medicine from the uk with you but make sure that they are codein free. dcl declares codein as a drug. I took quit a few things with me because I got so sick during my stay at wdw - none of this american medicine worked for me... u don't need to bring cadbury chocolate with you - they do have it in the crewshop for sale ... don't bring too many clothes with you because you won't need them anyways... you are stucked in your working clothes almost all the time... think about a few disney-look clothes. because if you do have the approval to spend time on stage you have to be in disney look - no jeans and flip flops!... bring pictures of friends and family with you so u can put them on the wall. maybe favorite cd's... if I remember anything else important I will let you know! dani
Hi danni, how r u doing thaqnk you for replying to my question, now i dont understand about the jeans issue. Even were you are off duty you are still not allowed to wear jeans or flip flops, strange i knew i was not allowed to wear tank tops or stuff like thaqt because of tattoos, but i never thought about jeans or flip flops, so wat can you wear?? scotty
hey scotty,.. I am doing fine... how about you? Getting nervous about the ship..?? Whenever you are in a guest area you are not allowed to wear jeans or flip flops, but if you are allowed to swim in a guest pool you can wear your beach wear and flip flops.. just don't do it when you are walking around the ship during day time. the hotel director, anders, on the wonder was really strict about the rules... I don't know why they are making such a big thing out of it.. whenever you go on land you can wear whatever you want to and off course when you are backstage! it's not that difficult so don't worry... Even if you go to the Shops on Board you have to be in Disney Look or in your Costume. if you have any other questions, just drop me an email... HappyDannii@hotmail.com Dani
