what sort of time scale do the UK appications work to? like if i apply now then interviews by fone will be in the summer and f2f in march what is the starting date likely to be if i make it thru the interview process? am interested cos i need to save i dont plan on going out there broke!!!!lol E
Hi, The time scale changes depending on the demand for workers in the USA. This was how things worked out for me: Feb 05 - Sent application July 05 - Telephone interview Nov 05 - Face to face interview August 06 - Leaving! (15 weeks today!) There might be some interviews before March, because i had mine in November. It is worth contacting Yummy Jobs to see when the next interviews are, you might find that they are earlier than March. With regards to when you will depart, I was interviewed last November and some people left in February, and i am on the last departure date (Because of my exams!) for my interview lot, in August. Some of the March interviewees left the week after thier interviews, and some of the latest leave in December. Once again, it all depends on thier demand for employees at the time of the interview. You get to state a departure preference, and they will try thier best to accommodate it. For example, i have exams up until the end of June and therefore could not leave until July, so they are sending me in August which works out really well. My advise: contact Yummy to see when the recruiters are next coming over from Orlando to interview, and expect your telephone interview any time up until a month before that.
