HEY Everyone, I'm just wondering if anyone else is planning on getting tickets for Pleasure Island's New Years Eve Party? That would be sooo much fun!!
Not sure what it's like now but when I was there most folks had to work New Year's Eve because it's insanely busy!!! Magic Kingdom was full by lunch time and Epcot filled up not long after that! I know we all worked in Merchandise. I worked from 9am until 1am. It was great fun though as we got to shut the shops for the fireworks. They had two sets that night!!! ;D Laura.
It would be fun, but either way it's gonna be fun because we get to live the magic for the next year.....
i recall at the info session the disney reps said that everybody would be working on new year's eve. this is the quote: "you WILL be working new years eve" it kinda sounded like they wanted to brainwash u! lol
hey i was out in disney last new year(not working, was on hoilday) and everything seemed to be packed so i think we can assume that we will be wouking that night. all the cast members seemed to stop to see the new year in and it was an amazing atmosphere though so i think that it will be good fun whatever. natalie
I think it will be a good laugh if we are all working, we will make sure its a good night and it depends how late we finish there nothing stopping us going out afta work, and i'm sure there will be loads of parties to go to...... any offers of a party at their place?? Helen xx
hey i am sure we can go on somewhere if the mood takes us or end up at someones place? anyone any idea what the general plan is for new year. you all better be up for my birthday on the 2nd of jan though. it is usually a good excuse to carry on new year celebrations!!! natalie
You WILL be working...but you might only be working during the day, not at night. There will be loads of parties at the Commons. Shan
NYE in Epcot is fab ... bring on the plastic cheesy hats!!! lol! UK merch managers let us all shut the shops and all dance about singing Auld Lang Syne on the promenade to the fireworks - possibly one of the best New Year's I've ever had ;D
We spent the whole night keeping guests off the stairs into Canada...then at 12 we all went out of the shops and stood on them to watch the fireworks...HA! Shan
