Ticket Discounts?

Hey so aside from out 12 gate passes do we get any ticket discounts?

Like, if my boyfriend came up to see me would I HAVE to use my gate pass with him? or could he get a cheaper hopper pass then normal?

 

From my understanding of what I've read on this forum, cm's also get a small discount on tickets, but the discount tickets you can buy in orlando are often cheaper. You def don't have to use your gate pass though!

 

Well i'd like to spend more then a couple of days in Disney with him and on top of that...once my family and his family come up I'd rather use the gate passes because they are good for four people.

also...does that HAVE to include you?
Can I give it to them..the four of them go in and then I use my own pass?

 

Your 12 maingate passes don't include you as you get access all the time for free! You just have to show it as you go in and they take off however many passes once you let your people in...

No, the four people getting in on the maingate pass INCLUDES you! So you only get to let in 3 friends/family a day on that...

 

Ya, Tink is right... you get 12 days - allowing 3 ppl (other than yourself) on each of those 12 days... but it does not become effective until post 3 months of working there... For your boyfriend, you may want to consider an annual pass, or have your rents look into it... Because then they can come whenever they want... not sure of price but...it's something you could look into...

On the Cultural Rep Program you get 12 days per calendar year for friends and family, so for most of you that will turn into 24 days during your year there. I believe if you haven't used all 12 days before the next year starts they are gone, then you start fresh with another 12 days. It depends what months you arrive and leave whether it works well for you or not. If planned properly you would have lots of free days for family and friends. The CM discount on hopper passes is not very much at all - something like 10% and its true you can get better deals elsewhere sometimes.

Hey guys, I have another discount question! Do we get discounts on the special theme park tours? My dad really wants to do the segway tour in Epcot but I told him to wait until I'm working there in case I get a discount!

 

yes you do, its somet like 10% i think i cant remember but yeah the tours can get discount you want to do segway around the world its the most fun

 

Awesome, thats great thanks Kevus! Yeah we're planning on doing the Epcot around the Workd one. I think when we go out for a holiday in June my dad will just have to settle for playing on the segways in the innoventions building!

 

i was just looking at the tour discount page in the discount book the other day and you can get some tours at about 50% off!! some are less and some only you the cast member can get discounts on.

 

Oh ok hsm, thanks. Do you know if the Segway/Epcot tour is a cast member only discount? If it is, we'll probably try and do it in June when we're on holiday.

 

Ok, so I'm a bit confused, aside from what u can get for family and friends, what do YOU personally actually get in terms of park entry discount? I thought u got in free in u did the one year CRP?!

ok im looking now, this might have changed but last year you got 15% off the regular price ($80 each) for you and up to the number of people allowed on your main entrance pass (which would be 3 people). Let me know if u wanna know any other of the tours.

And Cinders... you get into the main 4 parks for free as many times as you like!

Anyone know how much discount we get on the Disney hotels? I was thinking of booking a night at one of them for my birthday or something... if we get a good enough discount! x

 

I believe (dont hold me to this, it could have changed since) if you book it for family and are not staying there with them, you get 40% but if you ARE staying there with them (you have to check in in your name) then you get 50% off.... but like i said, dont hold me to that.

 

That's right, you do get 50% off if you are staying in the room. I have heard of some people getting even more off than that as CM's in different times of the year but 50% off is the regular discount as long as you are sleeping in the room.
