Throw In

Hey Guys

Quick question sorry if I am being a bit blonde (No offence meant to any blonde ppl put there) but what is the throw in that everybody keeps talking about?

It's a big welcome party for new peoples when they arrive at WDW.

It's usually as soon as possible after you arrive-but can be up to a few weeks, if I remember correctly.

It should be when you arrive, some of the people already there get your room numbers and come a knockin and get you outside for a little welcome meeting

 

Now... is the throw in horrifically scary..... fun..... or just mild?

I love initiation... it ROCKS *cough* i suppose it's owed to me now after i initiated so many people at the cinemas..... oy!

Hey Guys,

I'm afraid I can't tell you anything about the throw in, its MUCH more fun to experience it first hand. In fact, you've already been told too much! However, there is absolutely no need to be nervous or scared about it. Its just a fun way to get to meet everyone you'll be working with! See you when you get down here!

I'm a) underage and b) even if I were 21, I don't drink.......hope thats not going to put a damper on the throw in for people. haha
either way, I'm super excited to have a way to meet everyone all at once Can't wait to see you all out there!

I aint much of a drinker either (and am underage-so it aint a problem) so there'll always be me to be sober with!

There are plenty of people here who are underage...you have nothing to worry about

 

There is so much you can do in Orlando than get drunk.

I'll be sober along with y'all. I'll be 18 for my entire stay.

 

Ill also be under age, so I'll save the drinking for the trips to mexico and jamaica if thats the case...

Glad there will be so many, i was a wee bit worried there wouldnt be many of us. I will be 18 for my first 2 months on the programme, and 19 for the last 10 months, but like people say, hopefully not drinking wont be too much of a dampener on the social side of things.

there's plenty to do in the commons without drink, in fact when i was there i once went almost 2 days without one.

 

I only drink socially over here, can easily go without it. Rather spend my money on other things.

Like all the trips you can go on. I can drink on the other hand but would rather save money to go on trips, i can party without being p**sed
