Ok so i have my interview on Thursday in London but there wasn't anything in my email on what i should take. I know to take my CV and some ID but what else did you take? Cover letters? References? If you were successful and got the job what's the best advice you can give to us who have interviews coming up?
Just bring what they requested you bring, yourself, and a big smile Here is a vlog I made that will hopefully help you out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kg_2M36jDxM
Hey there!! first of all... CONGRATULATIONS ON GETTING THIS FAR!! the application process literally is a massive whirlwind, I applied last year in January and I go in March . They advise you to print off your CV and take a copy of the application part... take a read of my blog and hopefully your mind might be put at ease a little bit http://www.katieswaltdisneyworlddream2012.com/index.html . The best advice I can give you is quite literally BE... YOURSELF!! Think about it, what Disney / Yummy Jobs have got to know of you so far must have been really impressive! The Face to face interview is more like a 'confirmation' that you are what they are looking for. I can't deny some may not get offered positions after the face to face... but if you're friendly, cheerful and just love the Disney magic you can't really go wrong any further help you'd like just let me know xxx katie xxx

Avvie, they've changed the application process this year. Last year (and every year before that, in fact!) the pre-screen interviews were done as phone interviews, but this year they're doing them as regional group interviews for some reason! If we're successful in this round we'll then have another set of interviews, known as the face to face (F2F as they're referred to on these boards), so we're not quite there yet I've added you on FB so as soon as you accept I'll add you to our group
That's interesting how the selection rounds differ from country to country. In Germany, after the telephone interview participants are invited to come to the f2f, and are required to bring a massive amount of papers with them besides passes and CV's and photos, like criminal record, printed-out online application, some other form with visa application data and so on! I do hope that means that participants going to the f2f are already sort of pre-selected - or is it just another example of German bureaucracy?
Here in Italy too, we have to bring the same papers(criminal records,pre-filled application form, two photocopies of passport and the original, the attached appointment letter, ecc.) for the f2f interview.. so I hope you right when you say 'we are already sort of pre-selected' ^^
Hey, I'm leaving on the 14th Feb to go work in Epcot UK Pavillion (merch) on the CRP programme in the UK pacillion. I have made a blog - of my processes up untill the point of going (last 6 months) so have a look - and if you need any help just give me a shout xxxx http://dippyindisney.blogspot.com/
Hey Dipika, I have my face to face interview for the uk pavilion on the same day you leave for Florida! Just read your blog so far, keep writing. Hope you have a Fantastic year
I just had the Canadian interview in Toronto this last week, and my thoughts on why they have switched it up was because of the pure volume the UK received... Canada, which usually has quite high numbers had around 600-800 applicants where as the UK received over 2000 in three weeks... and most phone interviews are around 15-20 minutes.. so after doing the math... that's over 800 hours on the phone.. this way they can see several people, at once, and get through everyone quicker! So if you've made it this far, CONGRATS!!! EVERY single friend of mine who applied in the UK were turned down.
