Well, the subject says it all: what's the weather usually like during those four months (june-september)? Does it rain a lot at the WDW resort? Thanks in advance.
I am certainly NOT the expert, but seeing as how my BEST FRIEND lives there.......I have been told that you can SET YOUR WATCH to a thunder storm most everyday around 4ish? It IS the LIGHTENING CAPITOL OF THE WORLD!! So, expect rain and thunder showers!! ;D
yeah, you really can set your watch to the thunderstorms! it's really weird to see how quick the park 'empties' since everyone's running inside the shops and restaurants! the really annoying part though is not the thunderstorms themselves, cause they usually only last like 20 min or so...but since it's so hot there it gets really humid! but you'll get used to that, too! ;D
So the rest of the day remains usually sunny and rain-free ? And when in September does this season end ?
Some days can rain non-stop all day...some can be beautiful...usually during the summer you can set you watch by the storms. I went last June and most days rained...2 days were totally gorgeous and 2 days rained non-stop...so its all fun. xKx
i just hpoe i get a tan when im sat by the pool!! thats my goal!! a nice tan!! ooh and the experience of a lifetime!!
From what I've seen... put it this way... Calling it the "wet season" is a vast understatement. Wet just doesn't cut it Last time I was at WDW, it rained 13 of the 14 days. Usually it was just a shower in the afternoon, but that's a lot of rain. Florida rain is fun though... it's warm and pleasant KC
Yep, it can easily rain EVERY day, but it will only last from like 20 minutes to an hour at around 3-4pm. Usually, just the right time to head to the Odyssey for lunch and for it to be pouring when you want to go back. All the guests will come into the shops and you'll have to entertain the same people for half an hour before they decide to venture out. During some storms, parts of Canada used to flood and we'd have to squeegee the water out the door. Ah fun times...nothing like running back from the Odyssey wearing a garbage bag! Shannon
i remember that! or it rained when you're shift was over and all you wanted was to get home! do you remember the rainboots wardrobe gave out...your shoes (and feet) couldn't have gotten any more wet not wearing them...it just kept raining inside and you would eventually be walking in water! haha! yeah i loved those times! and all the guest inside the shops that were either sitting around on the floor or accidentally pushed the merchandise from the shelfs (lots of fun when you're working in the stein shop selling, well, steins and glassware) since they could hardly move inside! and every now and then someone in one of those electronic wheelchairs (we called them fatmobiles) would try to pass through the crowds! ah well, summer days at epcot! haha
