ok its been mentioned and i think it might be a good idea to see whose interested, what ideas we all have and what we all want it to be about and maybe it might happen. Its kinda fun to do the impossible and all our a dreams can come true if we have the courage to persue them

I'm 100% in on it seeing how I was part of the original idea. I was thinking we could do... -A top 10 ride thing people could submit lists and we could do the stats and do a little segment on each ride. -Things that are being discussed on the website frequently...ETC: more people on certain days...people leaving....tips and interesting things that were said. -Disney news that we have heard through the grapevine (AKA Inside the magic...and other things) Kevus. If you have any sort of editing experience or anyone else. What we could do is set a format to record in and decide on topics to assign to people. With a end date to submit it. Then a smaller group can work on polishing it up. I can learn how to put it together if nobody else can... I'll also come up with a layout and idea show for the first part. I'll do this for tonight and we can get people to choose what they'd like to do. If anyone has any good programs for recording that are free throw it out there. I'm heading to work now but I'll think about it at work and be back on my lunch break.
I was thinking since we have a wide range of people from the parks and rides and roles, interviews might be good, A news segment, of course some tunes, articles and thoughts about the park, an imagineer corner in which we can look at the new rides, improvements that people might like to see. I am still looking into the how to combine pieces so that everyone can particepate, so far it might be a case of recording our own bits and sharing them via msn or aim then combining them all together for one 15-20 minute podcast... any further comments or suggestions?
I would completely agree with you. I'd say that is the best way to do it. We just need one general "intro" person. Kevus, Today try to come up with some set ideas for things to talk about and post them here tonight. I will do the same. ALSO GUYS! IF ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS LET US KNOW
Hey Guys! That's a fantastic idea! Some ideas that I have been thinking about are to have a feature country of the week or something like that and interview different people from the CRP and ICP programs so it gives applicants and other people thinking about applying some insider information, discounts for family and friends and what boundaries there are and such like that (already mentioned by smeone else but I think that ones important because it's kind of confusing), and I also like the idea of getting the top 10 rides idea (awesome Tracey) and having a feature ride every week or something like that, that way it's interactive for everyone and not just the people putting on the podcast. We could do something about the different insider tours as well, like the Segway because some people don't know about it. Maybe something on seasonal things as well such as the Food and Wine Festival. OH! And maybe have something like Speaker's Corner, only for messages from people who are at the park wanting to send their love back home to their family and friends? I don't know if that would work or not, but it's worth a try! Kudos to you guys for "imagineering" this idea....If I think of anything else, I'll send it your way
How about Top 10 Must sees, like shows and parades? I have loads of Disney music if that's needed and some music from the parks. And the backstage tours. Everything you can do as a CM, like volunteer work...
ok my ideas so far... Host we have a different host each week, the host is the person who makes the articles into a podcast, puts whatever music they feel like putting in (although requests could be given) and makes the articles into the podcast. this cuts workload between the host, since it will be that weeks host to make the show not just waiting on one person week in week out Pieces about anything, you write you record, i was think 5-7 mins a piece, but i suppose two parters or maybe even three might count. if you have some good news or gossip send your article to the host of that weeks show and they can consider it. some piece may have relavence to topics going on in the forum, so they might take priority. Ideas for pieces News and Rumours Advice Cast Member moments - short stories about peoples favourite moments Being A.....- current or old cast's tip and tricks on being certain roles. Top 5...- Top 5 disney or pixar movies, shows to see, rides, places to eat, things not to do The host then when finished lets all the contibuters here the podcast and if they dont like anything the Host can change.
This is a brilliant idea! I'd love to be involved and will submit ideas when I have the time (I'm a bit bogged down with my life at the moment, and now is NOT a good time LOL) I'll get back to you once I've stopped living at the library and rehearsals
Thats why i thought of multiple hosts, so then people who have exams and such dont have the extra hassle
I also think we should include segments on how to apply... definitely for UK applicants and even for other countries who can apply. We can also have stuff like a feeback section, so members can email the host and tell us what they think! Plus I think the idea of having a section where CM's currently in WDW can send in messages for home. That's kinda cool Really we just need to go through some of the posts on here and see which concerns seem to keep cropping up, such as homesickness, what we need to pack etc etc!!! Ahhhhh so excited!!!
We could give the different places that they are holding interviews...Kind of like a "When and Where" or something like that?
you could maybe cover what it is like to live and work there, maybe a different aspect of it every week getting cast members from different roles giving their opinions on their roles and stuff. It can be hard to get that kind of thing if you don't know where to look.

Soo cool! I was reading all ur posts in the music post, and then I saw this one...I don't have many ideas...but I think this is such a good plan. and if it happens I'll def listen. my only idea is that I'd love to know when and how the disney international programs started, and how many years it has existed for. An alumni type thing talking to people who went tons of years ago would be cool, I'd love to know how things have changed, their experiences, the history, etc. also, I don't know if anyone else does this, but I look up the weather in orlando almost everyday as I count down to leave and wish desperately that I was away from cold and damp canada. it'd be kinda neat to have a weather forecast as part of the show. you guys are awesome. I def look forward to listening to the finished product, and if you need a voice I like to talk!
