I'm through to the f2f interviews in london as well for the summer program but they didn't give me a date. In the email it just said mid-march. Not sure y. I guess they must be organising another interview date.
And there were interviews earlier in the year so some people do know that they are definately going.
I hope that helps unconfuse u.

    Hey!

Yeah there where quite a few interviews back in November for the summer program (seems like an age ago). I was at one in Aberdeen. They held them about the same time as the did interviews for the international program.

What positions are you thinking of going for? You will have such fun at the presentation and the interviews are nothing to be worried about, though saying that i was probably the worst before my interview for nerves lol

Let us know how you get on, any questions just ask

Hope you see you there in the summer

lol - i also told them that i'd be happy doing anything as long as i was there :)

You get to put down what you'd most like to do then a second choice and a third ect. Broom sweeping is Custodial ;) so hopefully you'll get something you like.

Lee, to repeat something I posted a while ago

Don't give up hope for 2006. I'd longed wanted to do an international program, but various things had worked against me. When I received the 2005 ICP start dates I couldn't make them because of exams; that was the last chance I saw myself having and so had basically given up any hope. Luckily, I hadn't given up to the stage of not checking these forums every so often. On June 1st 2005, I heard rumours about some new opportunities and (after getting a little hyper on here) I applied for them. I spoke with Alexis at Yummy Jobs twenty minutes after applying, was interviewed on June 4th, accepted on June 5th and flew out on June 26th for the most amazing summer!. As a certain cricket says in Wishes, "just when things look bad, fate steps in to see you through"...

Anyhow, my point is that even though the main interviews can happen, opportunities can arise at any time: there are definetely still interviews to happen so get in touch with them and see what you can sort out!

    Best of luck!

Apply now - right now! From previous posts there looks like there are interviews coming up in march so i dont think you'll be too late - going by Andy's post above anything could happen even if it is late.

If you go on the yummy jobs website then you can submit your cv that way. Just make sure its in a program they can read on their computers, first time i sent mine they couldnt open it :)

    Good luck

I was on the CP last summer and they sent us all an emaill whilst we were there sayin do we know people who would like to take part in the programme so rite up until the last min they are taking people. Even tho they may interview hundreds of people, many might not fit the criteria therefore they are short so i recon u can apply ne time....just send an email to Yummy jobs like its been said and im sure u'll get an interview for this summer.

    Gem xXx

P.S if u're going for the CP 2006 i am so jealous and you are gonna hav the time of ur life and it will change ur life forever even though its only 3months ;D ;)

Gem is *sooo* right - it will eb the time of your life. It is very annoying that they won't let us go back!

(Actually, I do sometimes wonder given how late they suddenlly decided they needed more people last year whether at the beginning of June all the 2005 participants will get an e-mail asking us to go back....)

Ok, i CANNOT believe the timing of this!!! I just got the folllowing e-mail:

Unfortunately, it then goes on to say you have to be available for the WHOLE period of May to November. Which I'm not. Because of uni. Pah.

(I would've said someone was playing with me, given I posted that only a couple of hours ago...but the e-mail does seem genuine, with an unsubscribe link that works and such like...)

Well it was definetely real. I've had a few e-mails going to between me and the International Recruitment. No, they won't let you do it for less than the six months (I'm not sure how six months can be called a 'Summer Opportunity'!). And no, I really can't do the ICP again. Pah :(

Well, it was a nice feeling for the few minutes it lasted!!

Hey Lee i have just applied via yummy jobs, but i just missed the next take in so, i applied via email to them, as there are the main people to go through i have to wait 8-10 weeks, when you are going via yummy jobs you can send it by post or email but i prefer email as they acknowledge that they have recieved it and there very friendly aswell :) So you will prob have to wait for the next intake which so probably be around end of year, also remember to give them a up to date C.V with a covering letter if you are sending it by post hope it helps

    Hey Gardenofenglandgal

Are you applying for the year program? or the summer one?

They seem to still be accepting cv's for the ICP or summer program so if thats the one your going for then i'd get in touch with them again.

However you mention that your getting placed in the next lot later in the year so i'm thinking that that'll be the year one.

Anyway wishing you luck in whichever one your going for
    Mhairi

p.s Everyone who emails their cv gets the 8-10 weeks email but often they get in touch a lot sooner especially if there are interviews coming up.
