Hoping that I do get a phone interview...... What type of questions did they ask?? How should I approach the phone interview?
Hey! The phone interview is ok- more of a chat- and it was probably some of the fastest 10 minutes of my life lol! They're very friendly- and my biggest advice (passed on from generations of wdwip users btw!) is SMILE!!! ;D It sounds daft when they can't see you- but it does show in your voice. Also, don't overprepare for it- or it can sound forced! I put a few notes on a bit of paper so that I had something to say in case my mind went blank! The sorts of questions they ask are: why disney? an example of when you've done good customer service? how would you get on living with people from other countries? describe town/country famous people from your country Along those sorts of lines anyway- think around the subject as well-like famous foods and stuff as well as places. Basically they're looking for happy, friendly people who are going to be great cast members!! Hope you get one- and good luck! ;D Charlotte x
i echo all of what charlotte says, i had a list of bullet points written out in front of me just in case i needed them i also wrote SMILE lots of times on the paper to remind me to smile but i cant actually remember smiling throughout the interview. questions they asked me included the usual why do you want to do the programme? what are your plans for after you would come back from florida? are you prepared to share a room with someone from a different nationality? what would you do if you had an untidy roomate? give me an interesting fact about your home town and the one question which really stumped me was: what one thing about your culture would you want to share with other people? I had Jason and he was really nice and friendly and it didnt feel like any type of interview at all! Hope all this helps, best of luck
