Did you get it just now? Thats somewhat good news if they're calling later at night I didn't expect them to call past 5 in their time. That and I don't think a lot of people are going to get calls this early in the process unless they can leave by about the middle of June (June 13th I heard... stupid me putting down June 15th as my availability when I could go on the 8th...) ANyway congrats either way!
Thanks guys!! i wouldn't worry..i got the call today at 330 my time...o think its 230 their time...but im sure i was one of the first calls....she was confused about what she had to tell me and stuff so it seemed like she hadnt done many people before me! im in merchandise...she didnt know where in disney..but i really dont care!! im just SO excited to get away!! disney is awesome! and the heat?!?! i so cant wait! but dont worry...im sure more calls will be flying in in the next couple days....if you think about it eric could have only gotten back to the office like today...so no worries....remain calm...and if youre in the shower keep a phone close! hahaha ~LISA
I'm guessing the summer one, since you said "you don't know where in disney", isn't the year one solely in Epcot? I could be COMPLETELY wrong on this one.... :-\ But i didn't research that one since I knew it wasn't an option for me. If you're summer I put merch too, but now I'm second guessing it.......It's so hard to pick.... Yes the heat is definitely nice, June/July however, is HUMIIIIID reallllllllly annoying for hair that goes frizzyyyyyyy *sigh* I guess I'll have it up all the time One good thing about merch, is most likely being inside for the 3-4pm rain. hee hee
Yeah, I was just chatting with Lisa on MSN and she's in for the College Program. and yeah jessyca you're right, year long cultural representitives can only work in their pavillion, it has partly to do with the Q-1 visa that you work under.
lol we don't get too much rain in Montreal......... It is a lovely ocean of yellow ponchos when it rains though! ;D
I'm from Vancouver.........but my family is all Californian - I hate the rain. Even though I've lived here all my life I think I have Californian blood haha
Congrats on the call!!! Being in Merch won't save you from the rain...TRUST ME!!! I have many a drenched picture to prove it. They have LOADS of outdoor Merch locations and they literally won't close them until lightning strikes 3 feet away. I remember trying to close the cart and pull down all the flaps while being drowned by the water running off the top of the canopy. TIP!!! Carry an extra pair of socks at all times!!!!! My boots would get soooo wet that it would take days to dry unless I put them in the dryer. Enjoy! Shannon
I got a call today too!!! Nicola left a msg on my voicemail cuz I was in class, but she said in the message "Carly i've got some great news for you!" so i'm assuming I got the job lol. Yeah anywho i'll find out specifics tomorrow as to what position and dates and i'll keep everyone posted! SOOOO EXCITED!!!
