Hi I'm from Mexico, and I want to know if you need to be in a specific college/university to apply to this program ???? I have tried to communicate with the one in charge of my area but I have not received an answer yet, so if any one knows if it is important to be in a specific college/university or career, please tell me.

    Thanks!! :)

If its the summer ICP you want to do then you do need to be enrolled in a college or unveristy course in which you will be returning for at least another year after the program. i think!

FALSE¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ Where are you from robmad?? Wich university do you study at?? In order for you to be able to participate in the ICP 09 Disney must have a prior agreement with your university. Roxana is such an amazing person and is probably willing to process the agreement between your university and disney, but there are some requisites your university has to comply with (It needs to be a proper educational institution with a 4 year degree¡) and you must find 5 suitable candidates to go on to the face to face interview from the same university as you¡¡¡ This process could be quite lengthy so contact roxana as soon as possible. You might eventually will have to help her out and she usually begins this process around November.

my university is listed on the international programme website, does that mean i still have to tell my university about going?

Im confused. Is this specifically for Mexico? I am from the UK and was under the impression that as long as you are a full time student at a registered University and would be returning to at least one term after the program you are eligible.

I am on a 3 year degree (possibly 4 if I take a work placement year) and I have just completed my first year and I am hoping to work at disney under the international college program for summer 2009 which would be the end of my 2nd year, and would be returning for year 3.

I have spoke to the UK agency that deals with the applications, Yummy Jobs and they have told me that I can begin applying from August. I cannot find anything that says I need to have 5 others from my university or arrange a deal between Disney and my University?

Sorry about all the questions guys.

    Cheers

I havent heard anything like that either, all i was told was that i need to be enrolled in a university course and returning for at least another year, i think that other is for another country.

Yes it is, In the UK they just require you to be in a course that is 3/4 years long. And it has to be a univeristy course.

don´t know its strange and sad because mexicans are only allowed to participate on the program once and thats all¡¡¡¡ so if you one to go back you need to go on a different program. Its the only country I know that has these requirements. Some people say it because visa restrictions established by the US goverment.

That is rubbish, is that not a sign of discrimination.
