ive been reading up about the summer program from may to november but does anyone know if you can go from july to november instead or are the dates quite strict
if its the international college program then you have to go on the dates they tell you. i think this years dates are something like 5th june or 25th june until 1st september. i think it varies depending on what country you are from too though. x
where did u find info on it? i hope u can to as i dont finish college till end of june soo il be wanting to head there in july
alexis sent me an email saying that its from may to november but its not the college one its just called the summer programme. i dont know any other way of finding out

yeaaah i will probs i wana go uni but im willing to take 2 years out as i really wana do this. so i guess we may be able to go july-november! then go back for a year starting in february.. cant wait.. have u had a fone interview yet?
no i havent had anything yet, ive got a reply from alexis and she said that you have to go from may to novenmber and theres no changing it. im taking 2 years out before goin to uni as well cos i feel if i dont do this now then i never will, so im applying now for the year long program starting 2008. how far are you in the application process? charly xxx
I've just had an email from Michelle at Yummy Jobs saying I could apply for the seasonal program from May to Nov - is it the same as the cultural one?
no, a cultural rep works for a year in the england pavillion in epcot whereas for the summer one i think u can work anywere in any of the parks charly xx
Yep your right The Cultural Rep program you work at your countries pavillion at Epcot for 1 year living at the commons. The International College Program goes from June - August/September and you get placed in any of the parks, water parks, hotels or downtown disney and you live at either chatham square, vista way or the treehouses. You have to be INBETWEEN university years to do this one. The Seasonal Program is from May - November and is the same as above but you dont have to be at university.
at the interviews they were quite keen for people to put whether they would be available for the short programme as there were more available spaces - they said the short programme ran 2-5 months through the spring season e
whaat thats not fair i dont think il be able to go then as il still have exams to do in june what a bloody joke an i have to wait till november next year to have my interview wen i was only meant to wait till march grrr. but i wana do this soo much.. now i hav 2 re think
i had a serious think about it and decided that cos i want to do this so bad im gunna take a year out and then do the year long programme in 2008. so i sent the email saying it and she told me i wont be interviewed until november 2007, what a pain let me know what u decide to do
the summer program which is from may to november is different from the college program which usually goes from may/june - august. you dont have to be a student to take part, and u will be on an h2b visa...this is the program i have just returned from, tho we only did 2 months as i think a lot of people dropped out of the program. you could be working in any of the parks, but most of the h2b people i knew worked in magic kingdom in food and bev or attractions, and lived in the treehouse villas.
