do you mean like your flight itinerary?
we went into sta last week and asked if that was what we took to the airport for the tickets, and it is. . . but if you cant find it i think you can just call them and theyll resend it!

on my confirmation thingy form sta it says that i have an e-ticket so wont get proper tickets but further on it says i will receive my documents in the post ??? not too bothered because ive used e-tikets before and they are easy enough but i thought it was a bit strange

also has anyone else had to buy a iytc? and how ong did it take to arrive this friday it will be like 3 weeks and i havent heard anything or received it

yeah i find it kind of odd that i dont get an actual ticket. but the guy in sta said print off the itinerary, which also has receipts of payments i guess, and take that. just seems odd, i might ring again to confirm but thats it as far as i know!

i got my travel card within a week or so, maybe less.

as for my itinerary, i got the email saying it was my confirmation in an attachment, and the attachment is all screwy so I know I'm going to have to phone them up about it. just haven't got round to that yet. really ought to by the end of the week k tho

I bought an IYTC - took at least 3 weeks to arrive - just when I was about to email them it arrived!

international young peron travel card. you need one or a student one to buy from sta because they want proof that you are eligible for the cheap flights etc.

if u have a'blue' ticket fair then u need to have either a iytc or a international student travel card. they both cost £7 an are valid for a year. u can buy them form the sta website or form one of their shops i f u get a blue ticket and dont have one they can refuse u the flight or something

I assume they'd have told us when we were booking it if we needed that though, right? I don't remember the mentioning anything about a blue ticket, so should be alright!

It tells you on the page where you click the flight to confirm - there is a little blue ticket symbol next to the flight. If the flight was ridiculously cheap (just under £300 instead of £500) then you probably have a blue ticket flight

yeah it doesnt really say in big bold letters or anything its just got a little blue symbol by it and they have like a little thing that says - there may be restrictions with this fare or similar. i would defo check just in case

    Just a quick question..

They've sent me my student card(blue card) but i didn't even send them proof that im a student..

Does this mean they just rang my university to check? I've already got the card..but i thought u had to send proof off before you got it? ???
