After a loooooooong hard struggle ...... I'm going to be a DCL CM! ;D I've been accepted for Merch, leaving as soon as I'm available (that'll be anytime after feb). I want to say thanks too, to all you guys who tried to help me find DCL recruitment info. It's not an easy thing to do! : I know of a few others. Hey Ona! I might be joining you! Seriously thinking about going back after the New Year!!! Need to do my medical again though and would have to do Traditions for a THIRD time!!! At least my visa is still valid! Glad you finally found a way onto the cruise! Did you interview in London? A couple of my friends from the International Program did the other week and they both got jobs as kids programmers. Do you know which ship? I would kind of like the Magic this time if I go back! There were like 7 ex-IPs that all knew each other there (not to mention other ex-IP from different "eras") and as far as I know, we all got jobs. Haven't a clue which ship yet. Infact, I know next to nothing at the mo except that my interview was successful. ??? Lol. But I guess that's what matters most. ;D We should so meet up some time (you're near Glasgow right???) and you can fil me in on ship life. Gezitsme, congratulations! Not sure when Im going yet Ona but it is going to be around febuary time, have my medical tomorrow then my visa interview on the Monday after. Should find out when I'm going some time this week if all things go to plan.
hello and congratulations to all of you... I can tell you for sure that they will try to send you onboard as soon as possible. When i left 2 weeks ago the magic, they were looking for many people to bring onboard as soon as possible (they are not enough in the merch dep). There are only 2 prob: - You cannot integrate and desembark the ship between the 17th of dec to the 7th of january (blackout) - It took a bit of time for the Visa process.... But...MAYBE you will be able to make it quicklier than you expect.... Good luck and perhaps seen you onboard (magic for me)

congratulations for all of u!!! I have a question guys for the ex CM, did u apply to work at the DCL when u were in the IP or it was after u finished your contract in the IP? Thanks for ur help. I'll be in F&B at the mexican pavilion from Feb 21st, but after this experiencie, i would like to apply for the DCL. Medardo
I didn't apply till after I was home (came back to uni) but you can apply while you are in WDW. Don't worry you'll def see when the interviews come around. There are flyers and posters all over the Commons and Epcot. I would reccommend applying while you are out there on the IP. I don't know what it's like in Mexico, but the DCL recruitment process is usless in the UK. Far easier to do it while you are in FL if possible. Good Luck. Ona x
