go! you only live once!!seriously you will regret it if u dont! plenty of years to get a normal job again, and u can give more than a months notice at ur job so ur not leaving them in the lurch.

also ask ur phone company if u can freeze ur contract?

Um...are you seriously having to think about this?! GO GO GO GO GO!!!

Going on Feb 19th still gives you over a month to sort things out, you can always find another job afterwards and mobile phone companies want your custom so they should be pretty easy to do a deal with - or even freeze your contract.

Which program is it by the way? The CRP or ICP or something else?

Good Luck - let us know what you decide to do!! x

  4. lol.... go!

i think you might be asking the wrong people! i would go tommorrow if someone let me.... and i have an exam tommorrow! hmmmm, maybe shouldn't be online on a disney IP forum, but hey.

good luck....i'm sure you'll make the right decision for you!

I only had a couple of months to prepare for Disney and I think it was the best thing to be honest! Sure it felt rushed, but it also felt good that I didn't have to linger forever like some people. Please give it some serious thought because I think you might really regret it if you don't. Things like your contract with your phone etc are pretty minor and can be dealt with in a month. :)

I'd say go for it! I also leave February 19th, and I haven't done a thing yet to prepare. So pretty much I am in the same boat as you!!!

Hey I start in 3 weeks, Its been an intense two weeks once I realized I had a month to go. But Its easily taken care of. I'm 26 years old I've been away for three years and have now been home for 9 months and have met so many cool people and have a job I really like. But the opportunity to experience this is to good to give up. I'm seriously excited. and hell you'll be there like two weeks after me. If you decide to go. Just make sure you plan your time and use it wisely when you are organizing. a month is defiantely enough time. When I got my job on the cruise ship I had about three weeks. and when I left for Australia I gave myself 2. So I feel quite well prepared. Grin. Go have fun. and I"ll see you in about a month.

sometimes going with next to no time to prepare can be an advantage, most people find it a bit of a rush before they actually leave.
I think you need to take a breath, have a good think about what it would mean if you went and what you might miss if you stay....and then pick up the phone and tell yummy jobs 'yes please!'

and congratualtions for being accepted ;D best of luck to you!!

Do what you think is best for you. This probrably isnt the best place to ask. Will your work mind if you quit? Would you still get a reference? Do you have enough money to go now?

While I would be inclined just to jump in, it would be a good idea to sit back for a moment and check it all over in your mind before doing it.

    Regards,
    Jamie

guttingly i have had to turn it down :( i have asked to be kept on the waiting list again incase a job opens up abit later but i doubt they will want me since i turned it down now, a month is just too short for me to leave my job have enough money for flights and some to take and to get everything i would need. I really want to go but i just cant :( i will apply again for the next interviews and if i save from now on so if the chance comes again and they ring me i will be ready. I was nto even told i was on the waiting list though they just rang me out of the blue last night and needed a answer by today.

I just wish i would of had more time.

aww i'm sorry it wouldn't have worked out for you. i think you'll see that it was the right thing to do, you seem to want this really badly and theres nothing wrong with holiding off to a time where it'll be more convinient and better financially for you. don't worry if they've considered you once I'm sure they'll consider you again, they clearly like you!!! how odd that you didn't know you were even on the waiting list. chin up...next set of interviews are just around the corner so stick in your cv and cover letter again ;D

  14. just look at the positive: 1. you clearly passed and they like you! 2. you gave someone else the chance to go!

Hey, sorry you couldn't go. but like the others have said it's not the end of the world. They'll probably respect you more for being honest and thinking sensibly about it and they obviously liked you so they'll call you again next time! And if not, just keep badgering them and sending your CV in!!

When were you applying for? Did you have a more specific time in mind?

send your cv in again, explain what's happened and you'll prob get another phone interview at the end of the month and then i think face to face is in March for depatures sept onwards, is that a good timescale for you? If it is I would apply again now while you are fresh in their minds x

If you decide to go in March you'll be at the same stage as people going out at the beginning of April at the min.

I'm going out April 6th and so far I have only returned my form for the university and the certification of finances.

I havent got my disney pack yet, no visa etc..

But even if you don't go in March its obvious they like you enough to keep ringing and giving you different dates!

Keep us posted as to what you decide :)
