so can i apply now? (plus other questions!)

Hey, guys im new to the board! so id first like to say.. HI! secondly, for a very long time I have wanted into the cultural exchange program, and i have a friend doing it now and shes loving it so much! and my question is....im 17 right now finishing off the eleventh grade, and i wanted to go into the program when i finish high school. I turn 17 in january...now rumor has it the casting people come down to vancouver, canada in October...and I was wondering if I could still apply and get interviewed when im 17...and then leave when I'm 18 (june?) and if I can't do that, how often do the interviewers come down? ohhh this is something i have wanted to experience for so long, and hopefully I will get to! any help is appreciated!

well until i know u need had to have 18 for the interview, in fact i forgot write down on my CV my date of birth and email me asking me to plis add it cuz i need to be 18 for that date, but u dont loose anything asking,

I think Vancouver only interviews in November, but I could be wrong.

well about your questions the best form is email the recruit team and ask, here in Mexico every semester had interviews, but maybe there its different, i dont know, email them and ask its the best form

Not quite, I worked at Famous Players, in Edmonton, and Red Deer. Both were traditional theatres, although I did spend some time at the Silvercity in West Ed. But then, my theatre got sold to the Empire, but today was my last day!!! kinda sad, I think I'll miss the theatre a bit...

 

i just quit as well! WOO! its kinda sad, but the people were the only reason worth staying. we have a tight knit group...but people are leaving, and the place was falling apart...the work is rediculous. i hate it. so i left

 

Ya, I'd have to agree with you on that one, coz the pay definitely ain't worth it!
