Yup..only in special areas in some places though. Like in the Jungle they had a special area because of the gas used to fuel the boats.
Really?? When I was in Disneyland EVERYWHERE was non smoking....hmm don't know if that included cast members though
you have smoking areas for cast members just so long as guests cant see you, also the parks do have designated smoking locations
yea its like totally cool to smoke back stage as long as the guests cant see you! And they have smoking area for guests all through the parks!
no i wouldnt think so, that would take ages in the MK if you wanted a smoke because youd have to go to the changing rooms and then out to a smoking area, then get changed again and return to work and if you worked in main street thats one long haul. Plus a majority of cps come in the costume
I know in MK they have smoking areas for smokers back stage and there are quite a few of them. They aren't that picky really where you smoke back stage as long as it is outside and its not in an eating area (and obviously where fireworks and other flammable things are kept)
a few years ago we went to wdw with my uncle, who smokes, when he was standing having a cigarette he got chatting to a guy and he mentioned to my uncle he was pooh's friend, think it was near the country bear jamboree?!
Well, it depends on your costume.... Characters, you can't eat, drink (unless desperate), smoke, wee, sit down... probably more... until you are COMPLETELY out of costume and back in basics. And if you insist on going outside the break room you must be either in basics and no more or FULL costume. This is a good rule - cause it means at studios you get to ride the pargos in full costume and trust me that is FUN!
Well thats news 2 me cos when i was working at MK the characters would eat drink smoke. I have a picture of me and snow white smoking whilst she is posing like her character in full costume.
I didn't say people don't do it, but if they do they're pretty idiotic. And if you have a particularly evil captain they really crack down on it. And I don't speak for princesses some of them think the rules don't apply to them.
they do dont they? jumped up tossers, and is it me or do all the ariel's look like drag queens? not all, but most. I think its the wig.
OH for goodness sake. there is smoking in designated areas.....everyone smokes outside the apartment complexes, on the balconies and especially when ppl r on breaks. I have seen the smoking outside their work place, but as long as you are covered by the public if u r in uniform. I worked in Magic Kingdom and in Disney Quest in downtown disney. Outside my work in downtown my collegues smoked by the ash trays and in magic kingdom u can smoke at the back where the cast members r. By the way didnt think smoking would b on the agenda lol.
