During the F2F interview was anyone asked about the six month program?? Cuz I was told there thinking of starting up a 6 month program starting in may, and you would be able to work in any of the parks!
yeah we were - we were told that if we didnt make it through to the year long program then there was a new 6month program running - we had to tick a box to say whether we wanted to be considered for that one!!! i ticked that box!!!!! Yeah it was for a position in any of the parks doing any job!!!!!!
You could end up in the Magic Kingdom (where the costumes are better)! and serving Turkey Legs or something or even on attractions pressing those lovely green buttons. If I end up on the sixth month program I hope they don't send us to Tree Houses again, because as much fun as they were it was a pain to get anywhere and do anything. Although it does have a lot of pluses. You can make a lot more noise there then you would be able to at the other complexes and you can't really be heard so it was easier to have crazy fun partys. Plus security were awesome there!
yeah trev and my fantasyland costume wasn't the prettiest thing ive ever worn! by far not the worst ( i wont go into that, i still have the nightmares ).
Oh, I'm totally interested in that! I definately wanted to either work in the MK or in Entertainment at some point, but was trying to figure out how to do it! How would one go about getting more information on that?
hi guys just found you all............yeah i was asked during the phone interview if i want to do the summer programme which sounds cool to me.... got an email back inviting me to a f2f interview in february at the offices in hammersmith......anyone else had this..
Trev are you saying that serving turkey legs is a bad thing!!! cleaning them were worse.................. Ash if you email yummy they will give you details on 6 month program it will prob be advertised on the website at some point to. Just remember MK says open till 1am for extra magic hours in summer!! that would be awful!! tan x x x
Summer program was a great experience, when I first went eveyone on the program was in Quick Serve F&B, and I was Epcot ODF. WHile it was more fun than I expected, cleaning Turkey Legs, Hot Dogs, and the like was NOT so much fun. Luckily about a month in they e-mailed me asking if I wanted to move to attrations, and I got placed at Mission:SPACE. I REALLY enjoyed the experience, and would definatly recomend this program to anyone, it was great.
The 6 month ICP academic sounds fun, apparently one day a week studying, but do you really need to go to them? I'd be worried they'd kick me off the program if i didn't go, but hey, if i've paid the fees, lol
Hey Ive applied to the Academic Program - looks like fun!! Plus we get to be in Disney over Xmas which is amazing!!
Disney over xmas is pretty cool but bear in mind everyone has to work like 60 hour weeks between thankgiving and xmas!
