awww I'll be your fwiend! I'm a little nervous but I've been chatting on msn with lots of people who are there now, espcially Sarah from the UK, and they're all SO nice and welcoming that I know it'll be fine. Everyone was in our position at one point and I think people will be awesome!
I found it really easy to make friends Quite a lot I met on the buses on the way to work or play hehehehe Most people here are very friendly so I'd say it really is easy to make friends... after all, we all have one thing in common

Hey, The majority of people are extremely outgoing. If you don't introduce yourself to us, we'll introduce ourselves to you!! You'll have a ton of friends before you even know what happened. People that used to completey brush me off, and wouldn't even look at me, are now becoming rather close friends. Its just about getting to know everybody, and actually giving them a chance. Chase
It's just that I've found it hard to make friends before and thats why I'm a little worried! Lol... I'm not the type who goes out every night, and my major worry is that everyone else IS!
I for one do not go out every night. My job is too knackering and I don't usually get back until 1am to go out anyway. In fact, my housemates and I might go out once a week, two at the most. And I know there are plenty of other people who don't! And yes of course there are some people who do, and I'm sorry, but I can't help but laugh when they look worse for wear when they come to class. If you sit still for long enough, someone will always start a conversation
oh thats a relief, people called me a sado at uni because I didn't go out clubbing, it was really mean I don't mind a chilled night out, but if it's hardcore dancing then I'll usually miss!
I think at the end of the day its doing what you want to and the best thing is it sounds like there are going to be people out there who are up for a night out or a night in watching dvds so will be alright
Thats really mean I can count on one hand the amount of times i've been out in the last month cause i'm not really a party person - i prefer to stay at home with some friends, a movie and some food I'm sure we'll all find some people that we'll get along with and have a really great summer, if they are all like the people on these boards then we'll be fine Mhairi

i think im pretty outgoing, and make friends easy, but as everyone here, i feel nervous about the idea of getting to my apartment in commons and be the only new girl there... im mexican and will arrive on june 13th.. merchandise !!! i hope we get along very well there, and get to be very good friends.. so we can hang out with people of all nations.. i swear that people i´ve known from mexico are the best !!! they are sooo friendly with me and im sure all of us will be a wonderfull team, many nations and one truly friendship... i love partying.. also just chilling with maybe pizzas and movie... sorry guys gotta go, im at work hahaha here´s my msn, if anyone one wants to add me.. teresato@hotmail.com see yaa... hope to see everyone real soon !! teresa
