Hi everyone / anyone who knows me! Just thought I'd write because I've been thinking abut disney a lot in these recent days - probably because I'm about to have my house warming party and a load of disney people are coming (Tori Hughes, Jerome Lambert, Anna Whalan, Fliss Rose, Charley Lewis, ...) I'm very excited to see everyone - last time I was with them was Christmas at Jennie's baby's christening. Hope everyone is doing well and living life to it's fullest. I've almost finished my first year teaching at a primary school in Leeds. Can't wait for the summer! Mary Fletcher-ward (UK Merch 1999) is coming back from New York and is staying with me for the summer before she finds herself a place to live. I can't wait! Get in touch if you remember me! hey nick yeah i left ust before you arrived ,but Keithy G is doin well. He's back in Orlando working at one of the Marriot hotels, can't remember the exact one, it'll come back to me.My friend Gav who worked in the bar, he still lives out there and is going to forward me on hisnew email address etc.once i get it, i'll PM you. He still sounds the exact same. Was going to meet him and Scottish Lorna from the R & C bar but didn't have enough time, you know what Florida's like !? cheers paul
hey gemma...say hit to th egroup for me as well from Canada! I just spoke ot my ex-roomie charlie a couple of weeks ago, and miss her lots. Paul...I just got back from Orlando on Monday too. I didn't have time to meet up with many people though. I meant to try and give gav and summer a call, but didn't get hte time. I did do Jellyrolls with some of the people I was at my convention with (damn that work getting in the way of fun!). Did the epcot, mk and mgm thing. In fact, we were there at MGM the day that kid died on rockin roller coaster. hope all of you are well!! ali
Hey Ali, it was good to be back at jellyrolls again wasn't it. Went to "Howl at the Moon " which i thought was actually better, didn't really do much of the disney parks. Was in mgm for a couple of hours,magic kingdom for an hour and animal kingdom for expedition everest.Was in line for 1 and a half hours and then the ride sucked ! Drank round the world at epcot, went to the pub which was cool, and went on Mission Space.......felt really dodgy on that to be honest.Spent most of the time at Universal etc.How long were you down there for ?? i'm kinda glad i was there working when i was, cos i thought the majority of all the cast members looked miserable, maybe there was a big party at the commons the night before !!
Hey Paul, I was down for a week, but most of the time was spent in convention meetings at the hotel (JW Marriott Grande Lakes...gorgeous!). But, we had an afternoon at MGM, na dI took a day before and after the convention to do MK and Epcot. I didn't do Mission:Space, as I heard about the feelings that come with it, so I was happy to skip the 90 min wait this time. I had heard Expedition Everest wasn't fabulous, so I figured it wasn't worth the time to make it out to DAK to do it. When I go down for a trip where I have more time, I will do it. I agree...we seemed to be there at a great time. The cast Ispoke ot said they were having a good time, but it didn't seem quite as much of a loving feeling as we did. They also seemed to not talk to guests as much as we did. Oh well... Jellyrolls was amazing. I haven't heard of "Howl at the Moon", maybe I'll go next time. The only down to JR was that Ray (they guy who did Baby Got Back) was off that night. I guess it just means I'll have to plan another trip!! ali
hey Ali, yeah, it was good to know they still belt out the old favourites like piano man, livin on a prayer, marguaritaville(sp) etc.Also , nice to see that they still do those 32oz Hurricanes or Bahama mamas.Went there with Gavin for a "quiet drink" and it ended up really messy(nothing changes).We went to a really cool bar at the Dolphin hotel at Boardwalk, think it was called Zoo, you should check it out when next down. Howl at the moon was on I Drive, near the Mercado. It's basically Jellyrolls, but a bit "edgier". Pretty cool that your work sent you guys down to orlando for a convention. Gavin works with Summer at the Gaylord Palms Hotel & Convention centre, think its the biggest hotel in Orlando/Kissimmee area. Going back to my previous post, i was in the R & C on wedneday so, indeed most cast members did have hangovers ,as they would have been at JR the night before lol. paul

Gemma...have a great time! It's always nice to have that many people in one area!! We're like that in Toronto, but half the time we don't get the time to see each other.
