I was at the Toronto interviews in the Fall, but they gave me a really late start date. It works out good though, since I should be able to finish my business degree before I have to move down to Florida. I'm actually from Wallaceburg, Ontario, which is a small town 4 hours south of Toronto near the Michigan border.
Yay! Have you guys boked flights etc yet? Me and another girl (Sam - shes floating around on here somewhere) are flying out a couple of days early on the 4th so if you guys head down early too we should try and meet up on the evening of the 5th or something. I'm driving down from Ontario. I'm not planning on arriving earlier than the 6th. I'm actually planning on spending the 5th in Atlanta to go to the world's largest aquarium and maybe the 4th in Knoxville (I'm still planning my route down). I'm sure we will meet sometime though over the first couple of days.

Hey Guys, I'm so excited to find this forum! My name is Mariane and I'm Brazilian. I will be at the Cultural Representative program as a Guest Relations. I know that 3 Brazilians are supposed to arrive with me on September 6th, but I dont know the other 2 yet. I Believe we are going to be on the housing meetings and traditions together. I am also thinking about arriving a couple days earlier specially because September 5 is labor day in US and September 7 is independence day in Brazil, so the air ticket is going tocost a fortune that week. I cant wait to live at the commons! I hope I have a culturally mixed apartment. So far we have Brazilians, Canadians, Mexicans and British arriving together... Am I missing some nationality?
