i like to watch a fair bit of rugby union at home (particularly cardiff blues and wales), and was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere to watch games on TV over there?
i went to a place called the cricketers arms for wales v australia before, but they charged us $20 to watch a TV!

also, i'm very inexperienced in playing, but was just wondering if there are any CM/local clubs over there that are open to absolute novices?
    cheers
    matt :)

*flash back of the Friends episode with all the rugby*

Ross: I'm man enough for this.
Joey: Ross, you aren't even man enough to have the channel that carries this.
    :D

I do!! I noticed it when I was just there... Frankie Farrell's Irish Pub is at the Lake Buena Vista Reort and Spa. It's right right next door to Buena Vista Factory Stores (the one with Old Navy, Character Corner, Nike, Gap... on the 535) and they had a big ad saying they show rugby and football/soccer.

i googled the rugby club and there is an orlando one, but obviously if there was a CM one it'd be much nearer/convenient

I've never played on a serious team..Mostly because I've lived in a "outta date" town,
but I know how it works.. but .. I guess I'm just another amateur :p Even though we played american football a bunch in gymclass for 2 years in school, also with friends after school :)

Well whenever ur going to watch matches you can let me know guys. I'm a HUGE rugby fan, have been going to Ulster matches since I was a toddler practically. It would be great to have some lads who know what they are talking about to watch the games with, and of course have a few pints with too :)

that's ace amanda, it'll be great to have a fellow magners leaguer!
i've been going to cardiff for the last 7 years or so, which does make me slightly gutted that i'll be missing the first few games in the new stadium, but ah well, we'll be in fl!

Alas, it's true. So much for being hardcore rugby buffs. Notice they've started back just as the snow has begun. How wise lol.
