Hello. Sorry im a bit new to all this but thought someone might be able to help me. Both me and my friend have been wanting to work at Disney for many years and finding this cultural rep program just seems so perfect. However i was just wondering if someone could tell me what the actual chances are of getting on it. It wouldn't seem right for one of us to go withou the other as it is a shared dream. Has anybody applied and got on this program with a friend??? what do you think the chances are of us both getting through
    =[ xxxxx :-\

I think it would just totally depend on what they thought of you at interview... there's a whole load of people from the same uni doing the ICP this summer - they don't know if you are friends or not!

The only thing I can think of is that I have heard that for the CRP, they like a certain degree of diversity in where people are from in the UK eg not having all Londoners etc. BUT I could be TOTALLY wrong and it might just be hearsay but that's the only possible thing that comes to mind that might lessen your chances of both getting a place.

I'd say apply anyway, both do your best - be interested and interesting. Know about where you're from and enjoy the interviews! And if one of you gets it and the other doesn't... for gods sake do it anyway! It's an incredible opportunity! Don't miss it just cause your friend can't go with you! One can visit the other whilst they're there... I really, really can't stress how crazy I personally would find that if you turned down a place for that reason. Sorry i'm going on and on now hehe.
*Unless* you're just going for a fun year with your friend.. it will be fun but very hard work too - you said you both wanted to work at WDW since forever so i'm guessing that's not the case - just a mention to anyone else reading though.
Good luck to both of you!

You might as well try. Then if both or one of you don't get in you can just not go and TRY AGAIN! Please don't give it just one go! Whats the harm in trying. You'll learn a lot from it as well.

The best advice I can give you is be PASSIONATE and ENTHUSIASTIC! -Quoting Steve Irwin :p

    Honestly it worked for me.

yeh u have to like proper sell yourself, make them see the best possible side of ur personality. i mean im such a happy bubbly person and all the people im livin with and shall be workin with are the same, and from every country too. but if ur friend doesnt get it and u do - omg dont dare so no to it, nothin bad against ur friend but this is the most amazin experience ever. iv been in like classrooms for the last 2days and learnt loads, its not as easy as just sayin oh well if my mate didnt get it this time il jus say no and we can do it again,,,,,they need to know the people they employ are reliable and really have their heart set on it and wont let ANYTHIN stop them goin!
