    Hi!
I'm about to have my F2F interview this Friday! ;D
And I'm just wondering if the Disney Recruiters actually call your previous employers for references?

I purposely didn't put any references, I would never have got the job!

You won't need references. Disney doesn't call any of your previous employers and only checks on your work history if you worked for the company before :)

Thanks guys. I'm glad they don't check references LOL
I guess there's so many applicants it would be hard to call everyone's previous employers.

They actually don't check your file or contact your managers if you worked for the company before. I had rehire status in my file and glowing reviews from managers and still nothing!

    Aww sorry to hear that!
How do you go about getting reference letters from Disney? Do you just ask your manager?

All I had was a letter when I finished the program to confirm that I had been there on the dates mentioned and a somewhat generic outline of what the CRP program is. They don't do personal references.

My manager did a personal reference, with a standard checklist that the College Programmers get (perks of being American), and a letter attached. I use it for all kinds of things. They do NOT do these checklists and references for ICPs or CRPs, but if you have a sympathetic manager, you can usually ask for one to be done. It's policy not to, because ICP and CRP aren't meant to be repeat programs.
