I`m an applicant for the CRP, and I`m wondering if anyone knows if the people that are responsible for hiring us call our old employers?

Should I give them the numbers of my former employers, and inform my former employers about this, so they know these people might call? It doesn`t say anything about this in the emails I`ve gott`n.

But it would be a little weird if they didn`t want to talk to our old employers.

hi Frenpie, do you mean so they can get references (i.e. asking if you're reliable, turn up on time, work hard etc)
if so, i asked yummy jobs (who dealt with my application) about it and they said they didn't need it...strange, i know!
    hope that helps x

Whaaat! Oh Man! I could have totally made up an amazing past and they'd never have known!! Oh well, apparently cafe's and supermarkets were enough ;D

  4. The only time yummy jobs/ international recruiting look at past employers is when you have worked for disney before. Supposidly they go and see how you behaved and if you were generally a good cast member.

Thanks for replying people:) I found the form we have to fill in at the face2face interview, and there we have to/ are supposed to fill in the name, address and phone number of former employers. But that doesn`t mean that they actually check up on this informasjon.

But I think it`s very odd that they don`t inform us that we need to give them this info, because I doubt people have this info in there heads.

And it s**ks when your former boss gott a new job years ago and is long gone, and the present boss at your former workplace don`t have a clue who you are, blæ :(

But since they most likely wont use the info it can`t be that important if not everything is perfect.
