Ok I just want a straight up realistic answer, basically like most of you workin at Disney is a dream of mine. What are the real chances of actually making it, i am debating going back to hs another year. (Im 18 and graduated and accepted to a university) Im thinking of going back for a semester then if I get into the program work their for the year then go to university. Does anyone know the realistic chance of being accepted at 18 with 2.5 years of work expierence. I just want to know if this is worth me passing up on university for.

    Thanks, Dan

    hey
theres no way anyone here can give you a definitive answer to this question im afraid, you have as good a chance as anyone else whos applying and if you take some time to go over the topics in these forums youl be able to pick up some extra tips and advice that will also help you when it comes to applying.
If you dont apply you dont have any chance at all (obviously!) so just apply! see what happens, you may not get through but you may also get in,theres only one way to fine out!!!!!!

Many people who are your age get in,i honestly dont think age has any bearing on your chances at all seeing as there are people who get in from 18 - 40 and beyond!!!!!!

You just have to put across how much you want to work for disney, why you want to work at the canadian pavillion, what skills and qualities you have that would make you an ideal cast member, what you hope to gain from the program etc

keep your spot at uni open, apply for disney, start dates may not be untill summer 2011 anyway so you could even complete your 1st year at uni before you go and take a year out for disney......

id say that you should apply, you have nothing to loose and if you dont youl always wonder what would happen if you had......

    good luck :)

The most important thing to remember is that there are, so Disney say, 100 applicants for every position available, so draw the conclusions from that i suppose-they are pretty fussy when to what they will and wont accept in terms of personal qualities, characteristics and the interview itself-its the only direct contact you have with disney prior to getting out there, so when you go for your face to face interview with the disney representatives, probably in London, you really have to pull something special out of the bag.
