RE: Vancouver Interviews on Nov.8 &/0r 9th/06

I applied for the Summer Program starting May 27...Anyway, I know it's only been a week since we had the in person interviews but I'm just curious to see if anyone has been contacted yet?!

 

I was at the Vancouver interviews on the 9th and I have not been contacted yet. The wait is killing me.

 

Well I was at the calgary ones, the day before yours and they told me that you'll find out in the next 2 to 3 weeks, so I've got 1 to 2 weeks left, so its probably the same for you, but makybe a week more??

 

Ahh! I had my interview on the 9th & I know they said 2-3 weeks but...The anticipation is killing me!! kpaige, were u interviewed by jenni or kara?

 

I was interviewed by Jenni. I was so nervous I stuttered alot, but besides that I think the interview went really well. Do you know how many people are going to be chosen?

 

YEAH!!!!! Just wanted to let you know I just got the email, and have been offered a position at Walt Disney World!!!! I am sooo excited, I can't wait till May 27th!!!!

 

kpaige congrats!! I just got my acceptance email today too! I was scared at first when I saw I had an email from Eric cuz I figured they'd call if u were accepted but I'm in! I gotta call him tomorrow morning for details n see if ne1 from my school got in as well. We should all try to fly out together... Yesterday I looked up flights and the cheapest was actually outta YVR airport to MCO, for $529.71 CAD(tax inc.) thru Delta Air. Alaska Air outta Bellingham was like $590something...If a bunch of us are in, we can also go down to Seattle cuz it's like $200 cheaper? I dunno. Not sure how many they're taking either...Add me to msn if u got it tho!

My interview was in Calgary just a few days before Vancouver. I've been watching the forums the last couple days to see if anyone had heard. Looks like a bunch heard yesterday. I fully expected to hear today, but sadly I didn't. I even went as far as to set up my computer to tell me the exact moment I receive an email, cause checking every 5 minutes was getting to be too much disappointment.

Anyways, my question is, did anyone hear anything today?

I just would like to know one way or the other so I can stop waiting in suspense.

 

I called him this morning At first he wasn't there so I was basically dreading haveing to go to work without knowing - but I caught him right before I left, and I'll be heading out in Attractions on June 12th! Anyone else get that SUPER FAR AWAY date?

 

I'm soo excited to go! I was looking up flights before I even heard the good news! For all those coming down w/me, Congrats! For those still waiting, just be patient. I heard that some ppl from my school last year found out a week apart that they were both going. And today at school it sounded like all of us who applied for F&B got the ok, so maybe their doing in according to what u applied for?! hey everyone... i found out I leave June 12th, Merch, which if cool but i applied for F&B first and Merch was my number 3 pick.. i wonder why they put me in my last choice???!!!?? I wish i got F&B but hey DOESNT MATTER.... I WILL BE WORKING FOR DISNEY THATS ALL THAT MATTers!!!

 

Hey! I finally had the chance to get back on here! I leave April 24th 2007 and depart April 18th 2008. I am going to be in F&B! Excited.... I THINK SO!

 

Hey! I called Eric yesterday morning. I got Operation and I have to be there May 27th (for the summer program). Do any of you get the same thing? Is operation = attraction?
Dela C, when are you going down there? Have you booked your flight yet? I got this info from MouseSavers.com that fare is at it cheapest 6 to 2 months prior to departure.
Anyways, can't wait to meet all of you there!

 

It's probably the absolute cheapest like, the day before the flight. That's how I've always done it, but there's always the chance there's no room. So I don't thiiiiink I'll be doing that this time.

Hmmm I wonder if Attractions and Operations are the same thing? I mean, why not just call them the same thing? Now I'm in doubt of what I'll actually be doing :O

Attractions in the Canadian pavilion is running guest through the movie, kidcot, audience control before, during and after the fireworks, and a shift here and there at the American Gardens theater(also basically crowd control). Hope that sheds some light for you Ashley.
