    Howdy All!

I applied a couple of years ago through cast-away, made it through the phone interview, made it to the final interview, then didn't get the job. I was just wondering if I had less of a chance to get a job now, since I had been rejected the first time around. Do they actually keep track of who has applied in the past and why they didn't get in?

    Hi there Emily,

well, I don't think your chances are less because I have talked to other people who been on here that have re-applied two and even one friend of mine applied three times before getting in. Some people get better luck getting in the first time.....But by re-applying again your showing you really do want to do the program. My advice. apply again! :)

BTW, I'm in the re-applying process too :)

    Hey Gary,

Thanks for the encouragement. I am just going to be sending in my resume to castaway this week, so I guess it will be awhile until the phone interview. I'm really excited though, the process last time was fun so I am looking forward to it again.

    Thanks again.

Where in Canada your from? If your from out west, then the interviews are in November. Even if your from east, they will have the spring interviews in March :) so, it won't be that long of a wait :)

    Hey!

I am in Ontario, but I sent in my resume a few weeks ago now, and still no phone interview. I don't remember waiting this long last time. Do they send you an e-mail first, or should i e-mail eric or phone him and just let him know i sent it in? I am getting kind of nervous. And by kind of I mean REALLY nervous.

    hi emily!

well normally They sent you a E-mail telling that they've received your documentation, and depends of the country the phone interview process change, for example here in Mexico they just call with out advice, and in some others countrys they send u a email with tha date of the interview, maybe u need email to eric and ask if the recive your cv
    godd luck!
    hugs!

    Hi Emily:

Don't worry if Eric hasn't sent you an email! I sent my resume last September and NEVER heard from him. When I was home over Christmas I called Castaway and Eric confirmed that he had received all the stuff I sent.

    Good luck! :)

I wouldn't worry too much because Castaway is really good. If you applyed for the spring interview then they probably will start calling sometime in January. Trust me, they will call you one way or the other. But it would be a good thing for you to call them to check if the got your resume and it wouldn't hurt either. :)

    Hello Crazy Canuck,

I am originally from Ancaster, but I currently live in Niagara-on-the-Lake for school. So Eric said he would be phoning people shortly after the new year? I can't wait that long! I am so excited for this.
