It's not really Disney related so I thought i'd pop it in here. Are you able to get a second visa whilst out there for Disney?
The company I work with at the moment have been asked to get a specialised team together to go to New Jersey and help set up the festival, they want me to go and be part of that team and I really want to do it, I think we would be getting a H2B visa, so can we get that whilst on the Disney visa?
I know the issue first will be getting the five days off I need to go and do the festival but if I get the ok for that are you allowed to get one visa on top of another? And would I be able to apply for it whilst already living in America?

but would you need a 2nd visa? if you're already in the states working then aren't you entitled to work anywhere in the US for the year? and i don't know for sure but i don't know if you're allowed to have 2 visas at once...

The visa you have is to work in DISNEY WORLD not the united states.

Yeah, the visa is so strickt that you're not even allowed to work anywhere in Disney either. Like I'm only allowed to work in the Norwegian pavilion and wearing the norwegian costume while doing it. And I'm only allowed to live in one of the Disney hosing complexes too!

I don't think that visa is so strict, because they're on the J1 visa if I'm not mistaken. But the Q1 visa is a cultural representative visa, so you're only there to represent your country...

I guess no one knows. I don't know who to ask either... the people at the embassy don't seem like overly friendly and helpful!

I would suggest google-ing the Q1 visa and also contacting the people at the Disney International Programs Office. They are very nice and helpful and should be able to tell you all the limitations of your visa. :)
