When you have ur first induction meetings, on your first day ( ie, the day after ur arrival day) you will have a picture taken for ur housing ID. You have to be disney look on this pic, and so you will be asked to take out any hair clips or hair bands that are visible, so dont wear them!!! having ur hair tied back is ok. I just thought id tell people this coz i know if i had fixed my hair up with a clip or hair band and had to remove it and have stupid looking hair in a pic that was going to go everywhere with me for the next 3 months/ year, id be mega annoyed! Maybe im just shallow ;D ;D This randomly popped into my head in the car this morning so i thought id post it for all the girls (or boys) who are shallow like me haha
Also keep in mind, that if you are on the Cultural Rep program this picture from the first day will also be on your Disney ID card so it WILL follow you for the whole trip!
And they *may* stretch your face horizontally making you wonder at what point since you last looked in the mirror did you gain 20 pounds ~ Jen
LOL. Mine was stretched. I had no clue about the pictures... hahaha my hair was everywhere! I guess it added character.. lol ;D
I looked horrible. I was soooo sick with the flu and I was wearig a winter sweater haha...just so happened that I um lost it and just had to get a new one
Yeah I had my wallet stolen when I was on a trip a few years after I had done the program and my Disney ID was in it Not cool!
No, but you can pretend you lost it and I think it's 20 bucks you have to pay. I think it's worth it!
We had to hand in our Commons and Disney IDs or they wouldn't give us our paycheque Unless you were termed... I know ppl who were termed and kept at least their Commons ID. ~ Jen
my last day of work was the wed, and we had to pick up pay cheques on the thursday so we had to keep the ID's, then i wasnt in work to see any of my managers after that so i still have mine.
Same situation as Jilly (same last day of work) but I had direct deposit so I didn't have to pick up my cheque. Also my Managers told me to give my ID to my housing complex. The complex said to give it to my managers... thus I still have mine. Those of you planning on returning. I have heard from a few people that kept theirs and returned, when you go to Traditions there WILL NOT be a temp ID waiting for you, and they'll ask you if you still have your old one. If not you need to buy a new one so keep that in mind when you head back.
I would still buy a new one for sure!!! It's so funny though how many things "disappeared" in the last decade or so lol
My ID is superglued into my photo album so i'll end up paying if they ask me for it when i go back!! Nevermind! x x
