this may sound like a totally dumb question.... but i just want to clairify is quick service well "fast food" type work? and then is full service working in the restaurants? im preeeetty sure the names are self explanatory but im just checking
QS is things like counter service restaurants and ice cream/beverage/popcorn/food carts Full is table service restaurants. Though, I have a feeling that the F&B people in Canada @ Epcot work the popcorn cart there... Not by any means sure though, so don't hold me to it... KC
I will be in F&B in the Canadian pav, and we do the popcorn cart as WELL as beavertails cart till we get the hang of things and then head off for the FS at Le Cellier!!
you would think so but in the thing i got in the mail it specifically says that its not tipped i got the impression ill be doing a hostess job which you'd think would get a share of the tips but according to the description that came in my package its an untipped position oh well no complaints!
Full Service Food & Beverage for the International College Program are untipped role and table-service restaurants; a friend last year rotated between Greeting guests, Assigning guests to tables, and Seating guests (taking them to the assigned tables).
can only really vouch for UK f & b but, the way it went for me was........seating at the podium (yawn),beer cart/tea cart/food and wine festival, fish n chip shop, food running in the restaurant (tipped) and then bar(mega tips)..... paul
THANKS SNOW about the beavertails...... I really thought they were talking about them during the interviews!!! MY BAD!! :-[
I know, Jeff had mentioned them at ours and I was really looking forward to having them again...but *sigh* they have been dismissed from the Disney menu.
