You know the whole being able to travel for a month after you finish work? Does that mean after your visa expires, because mine expires on the 31st August and my flight's not until the 2nd September... sorry, probably a really thick question!

woah, what??? My last day at work in disney is 19th April and my visa expires on 22 May - i assumed that the time between those dates was my time to travel, and that i had to be out of america on or before the 22 may?

If besides the Disney Visa you have regular tourist visa, you can check out your visa traveling to the caribbean, Mexico or Canada and reenter to USA as regular tourist with a new permit to stay for 6 months but as a tourist you can not work! But thats the way to check out the DIsney visa and then be free to stay as a tourist as much as you want accordint to your tourist permit.

I think the visa Disney uses for the CRP lasts longer than the actual contract that they offer, thats why there is a difference. You should have 30 days from once the visa expires to travel!

i think it's a month after the contract ends though. my last visa I had was dependant on the fact that I was being 'vouched for' by my uni over there so despite having a 5 year visa (still valid!) it technically wasn't after I finished studying there.

I thought the same for this next one. they may give you extra visa time incase you are able to extend your contract with disney? i'm pretty sure the info I got last week with my visa information doesn't give me that long after my contract...

    *checks*
mine is until the 19th July and my contract is due to end on the 12th June 2008. That's what disney have written on my Q1 application certainly!

it's something I'm going to ask about then on my appointment day!

When you arrive and go thru inmigration at the airport you got your I-92 form or something like that, they stamp on your passport and there is the date when you have to leave the country no matter what your VISA says.

I have been told before that you actually have to leave north america to change you visa to a tourist. If I were you I would ask the embassy or else you may go to Canada/Mexico and not be able to entered back in America
