Another set of annoying questions lol... So how often is the bus to Wall-Mart and other grocery stores? So do they wait for you to finish your shopping and take you back or do you have to get it all done within a set amount of time? Are the buses free?
i think that buses to go to pleasure island and in the different disney park are free, but i can't tell u more coz i'll arrive in april, i hope some people who are now in florida 'll be able to help us! really good question!!!! ;D
The busses to Wal Mart, Downtown Disney, Pleasure Island, all the parks blah blah blah are all free. They pick up and drop off hourly and run in to the early hours so you have plenty of time.

Don't rely heavily on the buses in the early hours though... the other day we finished at 3.15am.... and the 3.40 bus didn't show up. They didn't even know where it was! It's a good job we caught the last bus of the night, otherwise we would have had to call out for one. Walmart, Publix buses run from 3pm (i think) on mondays, tuesdays, thursdays and fridays (there's one day the bus wont run to walmart and publix because it goes to the Florida Mall instead ) and then on wednesdays and saturdays it runs from 9am till sometime in the afternoon. It doesn't run on sundays :O damn damn damn
Sorry we can save money if there are no buses to go places, unless we need to shop and we have to get a taxi!!
While we're talking about Walmart and Publix and Wallgreens and whatnot... What do people generally do for food out there? Is it eat at work, make packed lunches for work, hot meals at home, cold meals at home, eat in the parks? On work days? Days off? What's the food like at work? It's just that I can be a very picky eater... and I'd like to know what to expect... K P.S. (Thinking about it, to be honest, the only "normal" [and I mean that in a 'it's a frequently served dish' kinda way] thing I wouldnt eat would be lasagne... *gag* Lasagne and I have a... troubled history...)
Erm, well I shop at Walmart and get everything there. I try very hard not to eat in the parks on days off... but if I do I take my own drinks and that keeps the cost down a bit. You do get discount at Earl of Sandwich in Downtown... and Sweet Spells in MGM (a very happy surprise to me!) I have taken packed lunches to work before... and sometimes I eat in the CM canteen.. It depends what shift I have as they are only open at certain times.
Anyone know if any grocery stores in the area deliver. I dont' really feel like hauling a flat of water and all that other heavy crap.
Lol uhm no. It's not that difficult. All you have to do is get it from store to bus, bus to pavement and then cross your fingers that you live in Beverly Hills!
